If I could give zero stars I would. I took my daughter here and they told us she had a cavity. They couldnt guarantee it would be a white filling - they were wanting to do a FULL SILVER cap. I said no to that, she will have this tooth for at least 5 more years and I didnt want that in her mouth. I took her to another dentist in Winston for a second opinion. (I did NOT take her to the place they recommended). They took 2 x-rays and poked around A LOT and found NO CAVITY. We went from needing to have a FULL SILVER tooth to NOTHING at all. Also every one of her sealants fell out in a 6 mth time period, which according to my new dentist is rare and if done properly should never happen, especially not to every single one of them. This place is more worried about volume of patients and billing insurance for unnecessary procedures than they are about actually treating a patient properly. There are other options in Winston that accept all insurance types so please get a second opinion before filling your childs mouth with silver teeth. Better yet, dont even go here.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We never once spoke with the dentist during our 2 visits here. They place a silver crown on my sons tooth without informing me they were going to do so. He left in pain and crying from the pain. It also took them over 2 hours to fill ONE tooth! When I asked a few questions, the hygienist seemed annoyed and brushed off my concerns. They also dont let you back in the room with your child (which I was told of before we ever got there) and that should have been a red flag right off the bat. When I called to cancel our future appointments, they didnt seemed concerned at all. If they cared about their business or their patients, I think they would at least like to know why I am no longer interested in bringing my child here. So glad we found a better dentist. Dont bring your kids here!

I didnt find this office appealing/inviting for anyone, but I definitely wouldnt recommend this dentist for a child who is uncomfortable about going to the dentist. First, if your child is 4 yrs or over they will not let you go back with him/her. I have a child with sensory issues who doesnt even like having his teach brushed, let alone is completely terrified at the dentist. Their solution, we can strap him to a board and clean his teeth that way. I adamantly refused. It would have traumatized the poor kid for life! (Hes only 3 years old). They managed to get his teeth cleaned but we definitely will NEVER RETURN!!!

Unprofessional dentist and disgusting place to take your kids. Not only do they not numb with a cream before they use the needle. The dentist made a very crude comment to my six year old daughter about "embarrassing herself". It was bad enough to have to have two teeth pulled without being embarassed. They yelled at her for crying and threatened to strap her down. Dont let the window fool you, they take the kids back to a private room when doing procedures like that, so you cant watch. They wont let you go back. The waiting room is beyond disgusting. I am mad at myself for letting her go to a place like that.

Very inconsiderate of peoples time ! Why schedule an appointment at 9 if my child wont be seen until 9:45?? I think its rude and disrespectful to waste peoples time, STOP over scheduling if you dont have the providers to match your number patients. There were like 30 people in the waiting room just waiting.... My sons dental procedure was supposed to be twenty minutes, I sat there for 45 minutes before canceling the appointment because i shouldnt have had to wait that long if he was scheduled at 9a.m. rant over

This has got to be the worst establishment for a dental office that I have ever seen in my life. I waited at the front desk for well over 10 minutes without acknowledgement. I then asked if someone would check us in and a lady looked up and said someone will be with you. There were several people walking around but no one acknowledging our presence. This is the last time I will ever bring my son to this place. I highly do recommend anyone taking their children here ever.

What parents do not understand is that crowns also known as caps work better because some childrens oral hygiene is poor therefore a crown will last longer. They will only do this if the cavity is in between the teeth. Unless these parents have been to dental school..they cannot make judgements as these. Also...smile starters tells the parent prior to treatment they are not allowed back. If they want to to back they can be referred elsewhere where they can go back.

My son went in for his teeth cleaning and he was fine. They refused to let me go to the back with him. When they went to fill a cavity of his he started to cry and one of the techs actually admitted to screaming at him. At no time did anyone stop and come get me. I understand working with children may be tasking but there is no reason to scream at a child that you know is scared already!

I took my four oldest kids in and was done in 2 hours. The staff is polite and informative. I reviewed each childs dental visit and made the six month follow ups all in that time. The only reason I didnt give it five stars is I really wish the waiting room was updated and more child friendly.

I took my child there only once years ago and never went back. They strapped my 4 year old down to a table and it freaked him out so bad he peed himself. The dentist was real aggravated and made it known. I would NOT recommend this place.

I hate this place. They dont let you go back with you child even when they are putting him under. My son is only 5 and they had to surgically remove one of his teeth and wouldnt let me come back. Not to mention the wait time is unreal.
