I will never bring my child to this office not only is their front office terrible with no customer service skills the office manager has no customer service either. My daughter went to the ortho for a consult that the pediatric dentist referred her to. The ortho said that they needed 6 teeth pulled, so we scheduled an appointment for a week later May 30, 2014. First thing my mom took her to the appointment was at 2:00 pm they had her waiting for an hour and before they actually checked her in which she signed in at 1:30. After that i came around 2:45, 15 minutes later they tell me that i have to pay $195.00 because my insurance does not cover and that was only for 3 teeth. So i called my insurance explained the situation they told me we cover the services and let the office know i did and they said usual they dont cover so you have to pay or they could not render the services so of course being a mother i paid for the service. the office manager stated once they processed the payment from my insurance. so i scheduled another appointment for the next 3 teeth to be pulled for June 13, 2014 which my insurance had already paid for the services from May 30, 2014. The front office wanted me to pay another $195.00 for the procedure on June 13, 2014. I explained why would i have to pay if my insurance paid for the first date of service with the same procedures so i didnt pay. I asked when can my refund be process since my insurance covered the services they told me that cannot process a refund until my insurance paid form the June 13, 2014 service i called the corporate office and they explained that it must have been a misunderstanding because as i stated you are not supposed to charge a medicaid patient for services. i called the office again requesting a refund they told me i had to wait another 2-3 weeks. The most upsetting part is OK maybe the first service you had to wait and see if the insurance covered but once you see they cover a refund should have been requested i have medicaid for a reason second i work in a medical office you do not charge a medicaid patient for services especially after you have not received a denial for services.

My experience was horrible! There was an scheduling error and eligibility error for my son but not my daughter. Which made no sense since the appointment was made for both kids. Kids Care and Great Expressions did NOT communicate with each other and made us wait in the lobby for over an hour. I was informed by the staff that I needed to speak to Sharlene Yap DDS. She apologized and said we cant see your son today because is appointment was a 4:30pm. I said I know my wife and I have been in the lobby resolving the issue that Great Expression should have resolved for the last hour. Keep in mind 3 of the assistance was standing around doing NOTHING. Then Dr. Yap said we dont want to pay them ( Dental Assistant) overtime and we have to think about the other people that set appointments. I reminded her that when you set an appointment your STAFF blocks off the time to avoid double booking so you should honor the appointment we booked two months ago. She paused and said Im sorry sir we can see him.

The first interactions are always the most lasting. On two separate occasions Ive called to get an appointment, on both occasions there was mass confusions. Recently, I called, and the lady immediately put me on hold.... which is fine, I can hold.... but for 20 minutes is a tad excessive. Once she returns to the phone she says that their short staffed and that shes going to transfer me to another line and IF they dont answer call back and shell take my phone number down and theyll call me back when they can... So Basically I wasted over 25 phone minutes to get NOWHERE; why not take my number and just call me back, why not transfer me 20 minutes ago. I will not be letting these people in my childrens mouth they seem stressed, understaffed, and clueless about how to treat customers. No thank you, Ill pass NEXT!!

If I could I would only add a 1/2 star, the worst customer service ever, and the doctors are the meanest, the technology they use still belongs to the 70s; every time I had an appointment I got there on time but they made me come in to the consult 30 minutes later, but one day I "dare" to be late because of traffic, (of course I call them to let them know and they said it was ok) when I got there the doctor didnt want to see me because I was 10 minutes late; so without any explanation they just told me to reschedule my visit with the worst of the attitude and very rude. very disappointing, that dey they lost a customer; I do not recommend their service to anyone; so dont go there

Great pediatric Dentist. The staff is very informative, professional, and provided excellent customer service. I use to go to Main Street in Aventura but even with insurance the prices kept skyrocketing. Im so happy I found Great Expressions. This place is always clean and the Dentist really cares about her little patients. She made my daughter feel so comfortable and spoke to her about her favorite characters. The Dental Assistants provided a thorough cleaning and explained the various dental instruments in kid friendly terms to my 4 and 6 year old, one was named "Mr. Thirsty ". We have a new home dentist they are truly like a family

I have been a long time Dental patient over 30 years at Great Expressions (Formerly Dental Health Group) in Pembroke Pines. Florida. From my original doctor Dr. Robert Brody to my current doctors Dr. Victor Christoph and D.M.D. Leonard Ostroff and their knowledgeable assistants such as Donna and Sandra, Dental Hygienist Bertha, the bedside manner and treatment has been awesome and kept me healthy. Recently, Dental Receptionist Maria Benitez with her wonderful smile and helpfulness made it an even better experience! Thank you Great Expressions.

Every visit to this office has been an extensive wait time! We always arrive early because of possible traffic and dont expect to get called early but we wait 40+ minutes after our actual appt time to be called every time. They schedule numerous patients in the same appt slot and they forget whos in the waiting room regardless of you signing in. Parents arent allowed to go back with children other than when the dentist is seeing them. Not a welcoming facility at all.

The staff in this office is so friendly and accommodating. The tech that performed my SRP deep cleaning was the best experience I have ever had at the dentist. I made him aware that I suffer from bad anxiety and he did everything in his power to make me comfortable. Including handing me a stress ball to squeeze during the procedure. He is seriously the best and I actually look forward to going back to complete all the work I need done. I highly recommend!!

I went to take out my wisdom teeth with Dr. Torres and i must say it was an incredible journey!!! I felt comfortable from the moment i came in to the moment i left. I took all 4 wisdom teeth out and had no complaints whatsoever! Of course because i took out 4 teeth i was a little bit in pain but BELIEVE me when i say it was only for one day. I feel great, i havent had any pain and i even managed to come to work the following Monday !! truly loved it.
