I recently took my son to this office for dental work and was told he needed 2 crowns as well as several fillings. We were given a treatment plan that stated what our responsibility would be. We paid at each visit and when he had his final visit I was told we had a balance remaining of 397.00 because there was a claim that had not been paid by the insurance company and they would not do the work until the full balance was paid. My son had his final work done and as we left I was told if and when my insurance paid I would be getting my refund. The office received the final payment last week and I called to inquire about my refund. I was told by Angela that my account had to be "audited" so I waited. Today I received a call from Denise the "administrator" where she happily informed me I did not owe them anything NOR did they owe me. I asked how is this possible if my account was a ZERO balance? She stated they had to "Downgrade" and "adjust" the treatment plan. I have been in the medical field for 30+ years and have never heard of this in my life. I totally understand guarantee of payments and insurances, etc. but how convenient that the final total due was EXACTLY what they received from my insurance company. Makes you wonder.... At this point, I do not care to receive a refund but will be filing a complaint with The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. I will also be giving them ONE STAR since there is not an option for ZERO.

I went to this place due to some good reviews I heard and being that I also work in the same building. Big mistake because I was told I had 6 cavities and I needed my wisdom teeth pulled, which they wanted to charge me over $200 each tooth and they also wanted to charge me for a "mandatory deep cleaning", which i fund odd because I get two free cleanings a year with my insurance and am very diligent about attending. I decided to go get a second opinion and go back to my old dentist who told me there was absolutely no way I had 6 cavities at all and deep cleanings are not "mandatory" they are a luxury. Also instead of over $200 per tooth to remove my wisdom teeth it will actually cost me $37 each tooth with my insurance. Total Scammers, Im only giving one star because there is no option for 0....... YOUR RESPONSE OF TRYING TO CONTACT IS COMPLETE LIES!!!!!!! I HAVE NOT GOTTEN ONE PHONE CALL FROM YOU ..YOU GUYS ARE A JOKE !

Very Professional....timely visitation schedules....all Dental Technology under one roof....the latest technology....positive spirited Techs and Doctors.....works well with insurance...excellent results.....integrated follow-up ( crossover departments jump in if their expertise is required - if you are having a cleaning and the Hygienist finds something that needs the attention of the Dentist… The Dentist jumps right in, they dont even move you from your examination room ) .... its like no other Dental experience I have ever encountered ... they simply do not send you somewhere else for a procedure… all procedures are done in the facility, all the necessary trained professionals to render procedures are in the house.....

I will not go to this practice again! Dont count on what Dennis is telling you about what you need to pay. Before I took my son to get his wisdom teeth pulled out, I was told by Dennis that I will need to pay a certain amount which I did before the treatment. I was told that this was the ONLY amount I will need to pay. After a few months I received a very big amount of bill to pay. when I called they told me that they expected the insurance to pay for the rest of the amount and the insurance did not pay so I am responsible for the payment. If I would have known it before the treatment I would have had the option to consider other places to go to. I was simply misled!!!

This is the dental group I have use since 2008. There have been a few changes in the office but for the most part I have been very pleased with the service. Dr. Bautista is real down to earth and easy to talk to. Karen is my favorite hygienist. Shell tell you how to improve without being disrespectful. I had a run-in with a different hygienist last year whom I think was rude because she was pregnant at the time and maybe it was the hormones. Even my 12 year old begged to never see her again. I met a new person yesterday named Julio. he was quick and efficient. I was in and out in no time.

This place is definitely not worth it, take in to consideration all the bad reviews, they are truthful.. all the good reviews are forced by the office , they request you write a review while you are in the chair and they are watching you as you write the review thus of course someone is about to work on your teeth your going to conduct a good review. This place is a scam , they over charge and give you false information. After overpaying for a claim that was then covered by the insurance they are now refusing to refund the money. The office is unprofessional , unreasonable , greedy , and rude.

I have read all of the reviews so far. I have had a substantial amount of dental work done here and I agree with almost all of these reviews, even understanding the few not so good ones! The BOTTOM LINE here is: Knowing that you are going to have to accept and deal with the frustrating responsibility of YOUR own dental insurance companies negotiated charges and payments anywhere; if you want QUALITY dental work done by caring professional Dentists, Specialists, Hygienists and Dental Assistants who really do care about your constant comfort, then I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Sunrise Dental Group!

So this is how I know for sure Sunrise Dental is a fraud and a scam. I shared with everyone about my deep deep cleaning story. I got my teeth cleaned yesterday and the dentist said my teeth are in perfect health! Sunrise Dental not only said I had really bad gingivitis but they told me that my gum measurements were between a 4_5 which is really bad gingivitis well the dentist I went to yesterday told me my gums were a 1_3 the most being a 3. Teeth and gums perfect health! Glad Sunrise did not talk me into giving them my money !!! People beware of this business please

The dental team, technicians, and office staff are amazing. They are highly knowledgeable, professional, patient, and courteous. Dr. Copulos, periodontist, created a care plan to help effectively resolve major tooth and gum deterioration I was experiencing. The hygienist, Karen, is fantastic! She thoroughly explained how to care for my teeth and gums, then trained me to do it myself. My teeth feel solid, and sensitiviy has been significantly reduced. I can eat anything I want now. I am truly greatful for the excellent care and service I received. Thank you!!

This place needs better management or administration. Even after the front desk checks my insurance for validity and confirms acceptance they came back with outrageous charges which (after confirming with my insurance) should not have been charged at all. Worse yet, when I was directed to the counter to pay for the consult my chart and identity are mistaken not once or twice... but actually three times.... YES 3!!! Whos bill am I paying for again... mine... his... hers or ours!?!? Avoid yourself the headache and take your hard earned money elsewhere.
