I noticed the reviews were outdated so I wanted to offer a more timely opinion. Mercy HealthPlex is a wonderful gym; a great place to get in shape. They have numerous options for working out by whatever method you prefer. There is a large selection of gym equipment and recently new pieces were added to their collection. Both a therapy pool and a larger lap pool are available. A variety of classes are offered; almost all free. Lots of clean towels are located both in the gym and near the pools. Upon check-in at the desk, you are issued a key for a locker; one of your choice if you prefer a specific changing location. I am not aware of any theft occurring there and even observed a key left in a locker by a member. A different member saw the person who had been using that locker. She made sure the locker was secure and quickly returned the key to the person using that locker. Showers include shampoo, creme rinse and body soap, tissues near the sinks, hair dryers and mirrors as well. A sauna, steam room and hot tub are also included. I enjoy both Aqua Dance and Aqua Yoga in the therapy pool. Alice is the instructor for both classes. I LOVE her classes; I even look forward to them. Obviously she is quite skilled in yoga and is a great example for class participants. An incredible instructor, she offers suggestions for abstaining from or altering exercises inappropriate for those with injuries or restrictions. There are many classes one can take, whatever floats your boat, or body in this case. Group classes are offered for those who prefer not to exercise in the water. Mercy is the real deal and has all the bases covered. Try it out! I think youll like it.

I went into the emergency room weeks ago complaining of pain and sickness of which I thought was a urinary tract infection. After coming in at 6:00PM and leaving at 11:00PM, the doctor said the results were negative for a urinary tract infection and that I had a bacterial infection that she believed was an STD. As I was leaving, the nurse ahead of me whom had just gotten my signature felt the need to make a loud eww noise for her colleagues to hear whilst walking from my room, just ahead of me. They then reciprocated with laughter. After a week of meds, I hadnt received a phone call confirming my STD. So, calling back the hospital, I was greeted with rudeness and attitude from both nurses who had spoken to me. I asked why I hadnt gotten a call and they claimed the results mustve been negative. Well, that doesnt explain why Im still in pain. The people there pretend to be nice while in your presence then break the order of confidentiality for jokes amongst friends. Im not saying its always this way but apparently, I got the short-end. Now, Ill have a large bill for a completely pointless visit.

At 60 years old I have been a member of a number gyms over the years. I find this gym to be very clean and well run. In the past year a large number of extremely comfortable and very advanced piece of exercise equipment have been added to the main exercise area. Although I’m not a swimmer I see that the pools(s) are kept clean and enjoyed by many. For the past three I have been consistently participating a 6:am spinning class on Tue and Thurs mornings. They are well instructed and organized. I have enjoyed meeting a lot of new friends that also so seem to benefit from this facility. This is wonderful place to work out with lots of great people that are willing to help you! Clay Lamb

I joined the Healthplex after completing pulmonary rehabilitation at the suggestion of my pulmonologist. I absolutely LOVE it. Martha, our aquatics instructor, is the best! Shes cheerful, cares about her class and always makes the class fun. We laugh and sing while getting great exercise. Ive made some awesome friends which Im sure Ill have for life. I feel better about myself, my health and my outlook since joining the Plex. I use a pool cooler float to hold my oxygen tank which makes it easy to swim all over the pool!

My mom and I were up here and they came twice when we got here and my mom was in pain with her tooth and then left us sit in this room for almost 2 hours to wait and sit and we had to ask them for assistance I honestly like the newer Mercy health better.And when we were leaving the hospital some nurse was very rude and mean to my mother.

It depends on time off day or evening like staff is usually good but timing is everything as i have been treated great Dr Ahmed is awesome he is one of the admitting doctors several times i been sent home only. To go back 2 days later and i was frustrated and at leeadt2 of the 12 times he has came down and admittedly. Me stat

Came in for tooth pain they left me in pain in till it was time for me to go med did not help they gave me ibuprofen in 63 antibiotics to take over 20 days in this antibiotics should only be taken for NO longer then 10days this place KILLS people or youll have other problem... they fast because they didnt CARE

People who work there are good all around people. Expecially two of the people who do the towels and keep the place looking great for your experience of the Healthplex go out of their way to make sure you are treated with respect. And always having a smile weather their having a good day or a bad day.

The staff are extremely slow and dont seem to care if you are in pain. My son sat there for over an hour before see the doctor and asked a couple of general questions then walked out. They then decide they should check his sugar levels. Honestly, over an hour and just now this comes to them.
