I recently had to have surgery at Redmonds Outpatient Services. It was an excellent experience. Due to various health concerns, Ive had to have surgery 3 times in the past 3 years. Each was a different type of surgery requiring a different surgeon, so I have been to Floyd Outpatient, some facility in Marietta, and this week - Redmond. Redmond went above and beyond to ensure I had the best possible care. I can say without exaggeration that Redmond was by FAR the best place I have been. At Floyd, I had minimal care and downright RUDE nurses. In Marietta, they were professional, but it was obvious their top priority was getting me out the door and out of their way. At Redmond, they were not only incredibly professional, they were also very CARING. They seemed genuinely concerned with me, with how I was feeling, and with making sure my family was comfortable and kept up-to-date. I not only had the best medical care, but the best personal care, as well. The nurses were kind and attentive, the doctors answered all my questions and were reassuring, and even the team members that simply moved me from one room to another were amazingly kind. I especially want to thank the anesthesiologist for being so attentive. I cannot remember any of your names, but you all made me feel much better. That extra personal attention may seem small, but, as I said, Ive had surgery 3 times recently and had bad experiences. Theres nothing like waking up in pain to a nurse that is rude to you (hence why I will NOT return to FLOYD) or feeling like you dont matter (Marietta). Redmonds team went the extra mile and that means a lot. I hope I dont have to have surgery in the near future, but when I do, I will certainly schedule it at Redmond. If you need a hospital for ANYTHING, I would recommend Redmond 10 out of 10 times. They were amazing. THANK YOU, OUTPATIENT TEAM!!!!!!

I want to thank the staff at Redmond.....my father was a patient there for 30 days....the nurses on the 3rd floor including the ICU were absolutely the best at what they do....I have never seen so much caring and professionalism as I did in these wonderful angels..... Jessica, Rose, Ally, Kendra, Joan just to name a few were so compassionate, not only to my Dad but to my entire family. We were always asked if we needed anything. If I had the power to pay each of you what I know you are worth I would have to take out loans in every bank in Georgia. The housekeeping staff were friendly, compassionate and very helpful. My Dad says that Miss Ernistina gave the best baths he had ever experienced. My Dad was also a patient on the 2nd floor as well as the ICU on that floor. The nurses, housekeepers physical therapists and all the other very qualified professionals were outstanding in their duties. My Dad is alive today because of these wonderful people who I consider family and who my Dad considers his guardian angels. I hope these amazing angels get the credit they so deserve. As for Redmond as a hospital, this is the best overall place i would recommend to anyone who needed to heal. Thank you to the many doctors who gave my Dad the ability to still be with us today. Doctors Parsa, Merritt, Mcalhannon, Wen and Mckimmey among others are truly gifted. Thank you all very much for all you have done, even if it was the smallest of details, you handled it with grace, care and love. I am humbled beyond words but filled with much happiness. I love and respect you all. Again, thank you all for the part you played to care for my beloved Father....You all are definitely my families ANGELS

My name is Randall [Randy] Miller. In July of 2009 I was admitted to Redmond with chest pains.I had a triple by-pass heart surgery done by Dr.Lynch.Back then the entire staff at Redmond was great and made my stay as good as it could be under the circumstances. Two days ago on August 23rd. 2016 I was back at Redmond for another surgery. This time it was a hernia repair on my incision from the by-pass surgery. Once again everything went great and the staff I came into contact with were all fantastic. One incident really sticks out in my mind; As I was being prepared for surgery I was given a "dont care" shot. The nurse that gave me the shot told me that when the shot starts working "she will look like Farrah Fawcett to me". I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes. She then told me that its "not that funny". That only made me laugh more.Even though I was going to have minor surgery, That particular nurse made me feel at ease and very comfortable. The entire staff were great. I see signs that say "I trust my heart to Redmond". Well I trust my heart and my hernia to Redmond. Everyone was just great and I want to say THANK YOU so much to Redmond.

I went here on Friday, May 13, and had an amazing experience. The staff was polite and even told me to come back if my knee had not gotten better. That they would do an MRI. I came back Monday, May 16, and I was treated like an addict. I was given a painkiller the first time and wasnt taking it except Im extreme cases. The ER doctor LITERALLY looked at me and asked "Did you come back just to get stronger pain medication?" This is NOT how you talk to a patient who you can tell cannot even walk so to extreme pain. I will no longer be using Redmond.

My wife is on the 2nd floor and has poor hospital care this time, I am working out of town and we have Cigna and my wife also has Medicare and they are trying to send her home with her hands and feet drawn up so bad she cant even walk. We are at 100% on everything and one of the nurses at a poor attitude was hateful. And the Hospitality lady Dr.Patella has not been helpful at all. Dont know what I need to do but my wife cant go home like this she is worse now than when she came in.

In August 2016, the ER staff at Redmond [potentially] saved my life by relentlessly getting to the root cause of my symptoms and discovering a potentially deadly pulmonary embolism. I am confident that many hospitals would have sent me home early in the process as a healthy 31 year old. I also stayed inpatient there several times throughout the recovery process (which involved some surgery later on) and the experience was pleasant. Thanks!!

Ended up having to have emergency surgery on my kidneys done here after Floyd screwed the pooch and ended up making my condition worse. My nurse and surgical team were fantastic and within 3 days I was hiking up and down Tullah Gorge and back to my old self. They were great and I would recommend anyone in the the Rome area to spend the extra money and go here. Youll be glad when you only need to make one trip to a hospital instead of 2.

Currently in the hospital with my mother, after watching several of the staff members come in to offer assistance, the overall hospitality and service of the staff is very dull and most of the time they will walk in without even speaking a word, no greeting, just silence. Ultimately I had no control over what hospital my mother wanted, but from the times ive expierenced Floyd Hospital, their service should be a model for Redmond.
