Billing department is horrible, paid my account in full once I received my invoice. 6 months later wellstar sent me a check stating that I had overpaid and the next day I got a check stating that I owed a balance for the same amount of the check. I called the billing department and was told to call back in a few days which I did. I was told that the insurance company made an adjustment on my account and it was ok to cash the check that it was a refunded portion for over payment. A few weeks later I get another bill stating that I owed a balance once again for the amount of the check they sent to me, I called and they explained that I should not have received a refund and that the balance was due. I paid the balance although not happy about the back and forth and the whole situation. 3 months later I receive a letter from a collection company saying that I owed the amount of the reimbursement check and that it would be going on my credit if I did not pay it. REALLY! What kind of company acts like this. I paid wellstar the amount again after being told that the insurance company adjustment should have been a charge to my account and I needed to pay the reimbursement portion as well as the portion due from the insurance adjustment. I will be reporting them to the BBB and if at all possible would suggest finding another facility if you are in need of a healthcare professional. They obviously dont know what they are doing.

I wouldnt even give the urgent care a star if I had the opportunity. We were here visiting from out of town when my daughter got a pretty bad ear infection. My family lives pretty far out in Rockmart, but after calling a few urgent care clinics we were told this one was open until 10pm - just enough time for us to get there. The man who answered the phone assured us they took my insurance and we were on our way! When we got there the place was locked up tight! When we called to see what the heck was going on they said the doctor decided to stop seeing patients at 915. I understand that this guy probably wanted to get home at a decent hour, but when you advertise, and your staff informs your potential clients that you are OPEN UNTIL 10... You should be open!!! If you want to get out of the office by 10, and continue to run and AFTER HOURS URGENT CARE you should advertise that youre open until 8! Long story short, after toting my poor sick child from Rockmart, to Acworth, back to Dallas to see the physician at the ER at WellStar Paulding- Id strongly recommend the pediatric ER over ever returning to this pathetic location. They should be ashamed of themselves.

I had a very painful ingrown toenail. I called ahead to be sure someone could remove it and was told that it could be done. Dr. Maureen Lamm (after a lengthy wait) took one very quick look and said she could provide an antibiotic for the infection and medication for pain and that I should then follow up with a podiatrist. My trip was completely wasted and I will not pay this bill. I was of the impression that Dr. Lamm was in a hurry and just didnt want to be bothered with the procedure. I believe in Wellstar and the services they have provided myself and my family over the years and hope that this will not happen again. In hindsight, I shouldve gone to E. Cobb. Dr. Catherine Meredith did a great job treating an abscess for me there a few weeks ago...a procedure no more complicated or risky than an ingrown toenail.

I have used many services here including Ob/GYN, Pediatrician, lab, pharmacy, and urgent care. Staff is always friendly and professional at every office from receptionists to nurses to physicians. I always feel like they care about me and my children. The lab even did a great job drawing blood from my son when he was only 9 months old. I have recommended the Health Park to many friends and will continue to do so.

If I could give them no stars I would. My son keep getting sick 2 years ago. That would not give him strep and flu test. The test keep coming back positive every time. I asked them to do more test the last time we went. The Dr looked at me told me if I was not happy then go some where else. Thats just what I did and come to find out my son was diagnosed with cancer (leukemia) that same day.

Expect to wait every bit of an hour and a half. Apparently even with only 3 patients in the waiting room theyre always "backed up." This isnt a one time experience for me, its every time I go. If you really need an urgent care, find another place. Or go to the ER. This place is horrible. Ive been unsatisfied every time I go.

I liked the OBGYN office here but now that I go to the Pediatrics.... I do not like it anymore. Everytime I am there I have to wait over an hour in the waiting room. Why make an appointment at 9 am if you are still there waiting at 10:20 am. Very disappointed. I will be finding a new Pediatric office for my next visit.

Very polite and caring team. They took time needed with us and was not in any rush to leave at all. Made sure we knew what to watch for and how and when to contact them if questions or concerns. Highly recommend!

Couldnt treat a patient with a spell of high blood pressure because the medicine they use wasnt onsite. And Dr O. just stood there flapping off at the gums...... Why Wellstar? Why?
