The Cumberland hospital has become a (study) place if you might want to call it now days for the hospital in Knoxville. they send all there trainees to crossville and we are stuck with poor service and do not get the treatments we are in need of. Going in there with a broken ankle, whilst another girl came in with a sprang ankle she could walk on hers i could not, not to mention that mine was swollen as big as my head and you could see the bone sticking out. I got my x ray and she got hers they told me i had the sprang ankle and she has the broken ankle, i knew this was not right. after my follow up appointment with my regular doctor he confirmed it was broken and unless i wish to have it medically re broken it will not set right. this is NOT there first mess up with me, nor anyone else in this town while i know of one family whose uncle went to the hospital and they said he was going to die had him on life support and was going to take his voice box out after putting the family through weeks of hell and them finally tryings to come with terms that there family member was going to die they unhooked the life support and DID NOT die but was breathing on his own and didnt need the life support witch then the family decided to move him to the Knoxville hospital witch he is making a full recovery. I cant say how many people have died because of this hospital and there poor care and lack of experience not to mention all the slacking off and talking the ignoring their patients in the emergency rooms while they talk about some girls butt ( a conversation i overheard) eating on the job and running outside constantly to have a smoke break. so i hope more people will speak up on this because on my half i find this a WASTE of our money and a disgrace to doctors who do care about there patients, also i wish for those to speak up for all the people they have basically killed. Thank you- sincerely one very mad 17 year old -_-

Horrible from the minute my dad was rushed in via ambulance until days later. I drove 4 hours to get there. The receptionists at the ER desk wouldnt even acknowledge I was standing in front of her and continued to talk about their personal issues for 20 minutes until I had the security guard assist me. Then, as my dad was admitted, the day nurse was horrible. He stood in the hall and would talk badly about patients. I even overheard him talking about my dad. He refused to let anyone ask him questions. He got an attitude when you did ask. My dad sat in his own feces because he connected the equipment improperly. We had to go buy him new clothes. The night time nurse was wonderful. We went to the cafeteria at 10:50 am to get a cup of ice and the lady working the cafeteria ran to the gate and closed it as we were walking up and just stared at us. The day crew is absolutely horrible and rude, except the cleaning ladies. Thank God we live so far away and will NEVER come back.

Spent over three hours there only to speak with a nurse practitioner who completely ignored my concerns and issues. She wouldnt draw my blood to check its levels because she didnt think it was worth it. And she told me I was extremely dehydrated but never gave me fluids to help fix it. They sent me home with nothing but an ace bandage. Never even saw or spoke with a doctor. Youre better off driving over an hour to Knoxville or Nashville than wasting your time here. I will never return to this location under any circumstances.

My mother who has pulmonary fibrosis was admitted on October 12th because her sodium was low. She also had a horrible hacking cough. The doctor who treated her was DR. AYCA KABASAKAL. They kept her overnight got her sodium level up and sent her home. Four days later she was admitted with pneumonia and she only weighs 80 lbs. The doctor did nothing for her breathing, didnt even listen to her lungs!!!! It will be a shame if she dies because of the doctors apathy and ineptitude!!!!!!!!! I am SO angry.....

My husband went through the ER December 25, 2015, was admitted for gall bladder removal. After a week he Ended up having to be sent to Knoxville via ambulance (after I phoned hospital administrator in Knoxville for transport.) I was appalled by the lack of professionalism, care, knowledge, cleanliness, the list goes on and on. I hope Covenant Health hurries and gets this facility up to par or closes it!

This is probably the worst hospital youll ever go to. You want an actual doctor? Might as well drive another hour to find one theres nothing but incompetent medical students here. Everytime Ive been here multiple times(not by choice) and never once have they actually figured out my problem. The nurses are very sweet but other than that the place is just horrible with extremely rude "doctors".

I brought my son here for medical care. We waited multiple hours with his fever at 103. They sent us home saying he was ok. Took him to his doctor the next day and he had advanced pnuemonia and was very ill and needed medication. Being only a one year old, the hospital should have done more. Very disappointed in their ability to take care of people.

Im here in the ER with my husband he has Afib his pulse is in 55 he is dizzie they put us in a room and the nurse said that they have 3 patients ahead of us that here is the tv control and closed the door. Really ? He has Afib they supposed to put a heart monitor on him.

I took my mother in-law there for treatment of having trouble breathing they punctured her lung trying to drain the fluid she was in and out the hospital for next month and half she died on may 7 just 48 days after taking her there.

If I could rate them 0 I would over 2 hour wait time in er with oxygen level at 82! The5ytook 3 people non Emergency ahead of me twice, that arrived after I did. If you have a true emergency drive further bc this place is a joke!

I have not seen or experienced anything negative since my husband has been in this hospital. All the nurses and staff have been excellent. My husband was very well taken care of and everyone was kind, helpful and respectful.

Waited over ten minutes to be waited on then took forever to get back to do mri and then never billed me for it then sent bill to collection agency great service indeed
