My aunt was admitted into the ER this past month and then was put into the MICU not only was she treated like crap, BUt the nurses she had were treating here Like she was out of her mind. There was a doctor, that came in to see her and he had told the nurse that she should have been in the bone yard a long time ago. They were not giving her medications she was on prior to being put into the hospital that she was in need of, that she was having hot flashes and a nurse while I was there told her :it was all in her head" she is to old to have hot flashes!! Then as she was placed in the floor unit they spoke with her like she was a child. They never changed her bed in which now we are still fighting to get rid of scabies, and a skin rash. She was never given or even offered a shower or bed bath. I would never recommend anyone going there back in the day it was the place to go to for medical attention but now I would never do it!!

I went to Memorial Hospital emergency room extremely sick. They said I was fine. A week later I was still sick so I went to my heart doctor and he found that I had cellulitus. I had to go two times in two weeks and saw a real doctor for 10 minutes when I was admitted. I have felt terrible for 15 days and never get sick. They could not find out what was wrong with me. I will now only go to Erlanger where you can see a doctor that knows what they are doing. I use to work at Memorial and they are terrible now. Stay away from there, your just a number that represents money for them. I would give zero stars if it would let me.

My moms stay a Memorial was great except for the elevator maintenance guys. They make the hospital look bad. My mom is near death and as the elevator stopped on the ground floor, the door didnt open all the way and the elevator guy was blocking my ability to get out. He yelled "GET OUT"! Very aggressively, there were two people the manager, a white fellow and a black male assistant wearing a light yellow safety jacket. Both made Memorial look really bad. People are dying up there. They should be reprimanded for their inappropriate, rude conduct toward people who visit the hospital. Visit date: 10/20/2016.

I would like to thank all who took care of my sister-in -law Sandra Williams while she was in CVICU. Your compassion and care for our family and sister was appreciated. Dr. Pesces candor to me was received well when he knew I was a Respiratory Therapist. I have practiced for 32 years and worked every hospital in this city and beyond. You have treated us and our sister well! I am an Erlanger employee and hope/pray we treat patients/family as well. We can all have a bad experience but I hope we treat our community well in our caregiving regardless of the institution. Thank you all , Jim for the Williams family.

I went in for a stabbing pain whenever I breathed. I had to get stuck with needles 6 times by three different people before they thought to call in an IV nurse. She couldnt get me until she tried twice. I saw a nurse practitioner, she didnt even give me an actual diagnosis. She told me in person it was inflammation then on paper the diagnosis was just "chest pain". I heard people complaining over and over for narcotics, they were serviced and in and out in a matter of minutes. I had a six hour ordeal. I will NOT be going here again unless an ambulance takes me while Im unconscious and then I will be moved.

As a contract person at this hospital in the SPD unit I found the empliyees, late night to early morning shift treated their help (cobtract) with harassment and slander. Im sure these permanent employees as well as contract were displaying jealous and were being very vindictive to degrade a person. Its sad that there are people and organizations allow this. Its so much more to this situation that I wish I had control to take legal matters in my own hand. So sad that evil people can do this to a person that was making a difference to better this hospital.

Work for neighboring hospital and called operators 2/22/11 to obtain PCP phone number for one of our patients. Operator said "that PCP is not in our group, but will try to find it for you." Waited on hold for a few minutes and call was dropped. I called back several times and operator would pick up line and hang up, obviously as soon as she saw my number on caller ID. What if I was a patient in dire need of their PCPs phone number? If their operator is this unprofessional, what must the rest of their staff be like?? I wouldnt want to know!!

I went in on Saturday at 9:30 pm. I was there until 2 am. I was diagnosed with indications of a blood clot in my leg. I was sent home with a blood thinner and instructions to return at 6 am for an ultrasound. I went back at 9 am to be told they dont have anyone to do radiology on weekends. So I am at home with possibly a blood clot in my leg and an rx of blood thinner that I may or may not need and NO answers about what is causing the issues with my leg. What kind of ER doesnt have radiology after hours and on weekends?

My husbands life was saved by the wonderful team at Memorial Hospital. Dr. Austin performed the surgery that saved his life yesterday.The paramedic called me to tell me they had reached him, when I could not, and that he was having a heart attack. First responders were key here. I want to thank each and everyone of the doctors and nurses who provided him care. I am so blessed to have my sweet husband home for the holidays. In Jesuss name amen!

All I can say is that with the staffs cavalier attitude if you are not a drug overdose or gun shot victim keep going! No one took the time to listen to the patient or give any constructive directions as to a good next step. Had I known the patient care had deteriorated so we would have kept going to Erlanger. If you have a family member you love and care about do NOT take them to CHI memorial ER downtown!

I received excellent care at Memorial during joint replacement surgery. Every department was professional and compassionate. Their physical therapy department really impressed me over others Ive experienced and Ive had 12 previous orthopedic surgeries at other facilities in the US. Thank you Memorial, if I ever have to be hospitalized again, I will insist on CHI Memorial.

memorial did procedures on my wife that was not ordered by her doctor. double charge for the procedures, and when we questioned the bill the response was you had the procedures done you will pay the bill or we will ruin your credit! Beware of having things done here, even if you pay up front like we did.They will bill you after the fact with nothing you can do about it!

Great hospital but there Evs Aide is the worst I have seen thus far. The supervisors are sneaky and very rude and disrespectful. The whole Xanitos contract is full of crap. They will hire any and everyone that comes through the door! Some of the workers really dont even clean or clean well. They half clean! They dont do their job. Beware of the Xanitos team!
