. IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE OR YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS THAT NEED INTENSIVE CARE, PLEASE PASS THIS HOSPITAL BY. I WAS INVOLVED IN A CRIMINAL OFFENSE BY A NURSE AND ON CALL DR. DURING A VISIT FOR RESPIRATORY FAILURE AT THE ICU IN PAULDING HOSPITAL. IT WAS DUE TO A RESPIRATORY TECH LYING TO OTHER NURSES AND ON STAFF DR. THAT RESULTED IN MY OXYGEN BEING TURNED OFF AND LEFT TO SUFFER FOR 2 HOURS BEGGING FOR MY LIFE, WHICH FELL ON DEAF EARS UNTIL SHIFT CHANGE WHERE I WAS RESCUED BY STAFF MEMBERS. THIS ISSUE RESULTED IN A INVESTIGATION BY THE CHARGE NURSE WHICH LED TO NEARLY ALL OF THE STAFF FAILING DRUG SCREENINGS. DONT GO THERE. THIS IS NOT A SLANDEROUS POST, IT IS FACTS. THEY ARE SCRAMBLING LIKE THE RATS THEY ARE AFTER FINDING OUT THAT I WOULD NOT GO QUIETLY AND JUST LET IT GO. I ALREADY HAVE PTSD AND CHRONIC ANXIETY AND THIS EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN TOTALLY DEVASTATING TO ME. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL UNLESS YOU LIKE GAMBLING WITH YOUR LIFE. BEFORE THE OXYGEN INCIDENT, I HAD A FAULT ON MY ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BED THAT CAUSED THE BED TO RESET TO ITS PREVIOUS POSITION, BINDING ME UP INSIDE WHERE EVERY ALARM IN THE ROOM GOING OFF. NO ONE CAME TO HELP ME. I HAD TO WAVE AT A TECH THAT CHECKS BLOOD SUGAR TO COME IN AND HELP LAY THE BED BACK DOWN. I HAVE PREVIOUS BACK INJURIES THAT WERE WORSENED GREATLY BY THIS ISSUE. I WAS TOLD THAT i WOULD RECEIVE A CALL THE SAME DAY i POSTED MY REVIEW. STILL NO CALL. THEY KNOW THEY DID ME WRONG. THEY ALSO CHARGED ME THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR MY REGULAR MEDICATIONS WHICH I PURCHASE EACH MONTH FOR LESS THAN $20. IF SOMEONE AT PAULDING WELLSTAR HOSPITAL READS THIS REVIEW, I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT IF YOU CALL ME. INVESTIGATORS ARE REQUESTING MY RECORDS IN EXTREME DETAIL, SO THAT I CAN SEE WHO ADMINISTERED WHAT DRUGS, WHAT TIME THEY WERE ADMINISTERED AND FIGURE OUT WHO IT WAS THAT TRIED TO SNUFF ME OUT BY TURNING MY OXYGEN OFF. I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL I GET SATISFACTION. NOT ONE PERSON APOLOGIZED FOR WHAT HAPPENED TO ME EVEN AFTER IT WAS PROVEN TO BE TRUE. .I HAVE BACK INJURIES THAT REQUIRE INJECTIONS EVERY MONTH TO KEEP THE PAIN IN CHECK. BEING FOLDED UP IN THE BED SEEMS TO HAVE CAUSED MORE DAMAGE TO MY BACK. i HAVE BEEN IN CONSTANT PAIN SINCE THE BED FOLDED UP. THE CHARGE NURSE TOLD ME THAT THIS HAD NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE, BUT THEY CHANGED MY BED OUT FOR ONE THAT WAS MANUALLY OPERATED TO BE SURE i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

Dr. Yamil Cardell is one of the most unprofessional insensitive doctors i have ever met. I have been in the Paulding location twice so far. Both experiences have been the worst experience I have ever received coming into an ER. My last experience was one I will never forget. I came into the ER with severe back pain because I have had multiple back surgeris and have a rod in my back. I was brought back to have vitals taken and was asked to give a urine sample and I asked what the urine sample was for and was ignored by the Physician. After getting vitals and giving a urine sample and sitting in the waiting room for 2 1/2 hours. I wasnt brought back to the ER room instead I was put into a room that had one chair and was told that I could have a shot of pain medication and be sent home. I have never received such unprofessional care in my entire life. I have told my family and friends that I would rather them drive me the 45min to North Side Hospital than to ever step foot back in a Wellstar hospital. MY husband Tyler Padgett who I am here at this hospital now with unfortunately, yet again given unprofessional and ridiculous care. The hospital doctor said that the DEA is no longer allowing them to write out pain prescriptions such as Percocet, etc. WHY WERE WE EVEN TOLD THIS??? PAULDING has the worse country backwards ass thinking I have experienced. From the ER front desk laughing and cutting up to not even seeing a doctor and seeing a physical assistant instead has really shown me that Wellstar does not care about there patients, Wellstar does not properly train there staff and there hospitals are a joke. I hope that my reviews online and the fact I am dealing with the billing services for Paulding Wellstar fraudulent putting services on my invoice I did not receive is extremely upsetting. I have personally been in the Paulding location with myself being admitted and my husband probably 5-8 times and every time its worse and it truly amazes me how awful you all are. Im a Site Manager and its called bed side manner. Train your staff. TRAIN YOUR DOCTORS. You all are a joke and its sad I live 5 minutes from your location and will drive 45min to avoid all Wellstar locations.

Ive got mixed emotions about my wifes experience in the ER and after being admitted. We were treated pretty well in the ER. We were in the ER from 1pm until midnight when they finally put her in a room. (they told us they were trying to find her a room all this time.) We knew she would be admitted by 6pm. When we got to the room, it was the nicest hospital room Ive ever been in. The odd thing was after sitting in ER all that time waiting for them to FIND a room, I noticed that of all the rooms on the 7th floor, only about every 4th or 5th room had someone in it! My wife was initially diagnosed with a severe UTI, low potassium levels and high white blood cell count. Urinalysis was taken in ER on Tues night and bacteria was never identified in the 5 days and 4 nights we were there. She was given broad spectrum antibiotics but the specific bacteria was never targeted with antibiotics. The floor nurses were for the most part very pleasant. Hospital doctors and PAs were not very helpful. They would come in about 1pm and be standing with one hand on the door trying to get out while were still trying to ask questions and get some answers. She was discharged on Sat. afternoon, with really no answers as to the origin or status of the bacteria.

Front desk staff are great. The doctors are a different story. Had an infection so I came in just to be safe. I assumed it was a spider bite or something. The doctor recommended that we drain it, so we did. I asked if he thought it was a bite or staph or something. He said "its probably staph". I said "isnt staph contagious?" And he told me not to worry about it. They took a sample and I never got the results so I have no clue what it really was. I had to return twice afterwards for repacking. Different doctor every time and all of them gave me conflicting advice on how to care for it. One said dont get it wet and just do warm compresses, the other said take hot baths as much as possible. Ok? My infection cleared up just fine after about a week and a half with the exception of the laceration, but now my wife has 2 boils herself. They shouldve given me the results, especially considering we found out staph is HIGHLY contagious after some research. I also have 2 toddlers in my home. Now all we can do is hope they dont catch it, too. Doctors need to be doctors and go over care plans and results of tests.
