The facilities are nice, service is absolutely horrible. Youre a number not a name. Telephone care is rude. Asked for help with mental and physical issues, ran me through the hoops with nothing to show for it, accept it looks like they were trying to reduce my benefits. My issues do not miraculously heal themselves. Last straw was scheduling my next, much needed appointment a,month away and ends up being on a Sunday, thats what I get for trusting someone to do their job right. I work nightshift and have a lot of problems Im dealing with, so by the time I realized the mistake, it was Friday evening. Lot more issues that I do not have time to list. My advice, go somewhere else. Huntington turned out to be great.

I have been going to the VA for the last 12years and could not have gotten any better care. As far as the rude people that I see posted on here, well it may be that you are treated as you treat them. I have had all kinds of health problems and have had one incident in 12 years. Go to a civilian Dr and see how long you wait for your appointment. I take my wife to some of her appointments and I am so mad by the time they finally see her that she wont let me go in w/her. So you cry babies get off your soap box and realize what you have.

I go to this hospital monthly for appointments, and I will say that I get the care I require. I am happy with the reason I am there, but have seen some bad parts of the hospital with rude workers that act like you owe them something for them doing their job. I have also see some really kind workers, but as for the hospital building itself I think its old, but does work for what its used for.

Been using the VA medical service for 17 years! I wish I could give them more that 5 stars! Leestown, Cooper St, and the Somerset clinic are the finest I have experienced, great people, caring for we vets, nice facilities too!
