My Horrible Experience DO NOT TRUST DR. WOOFTER OR MIDWEST DERMATOLOGY!! (BAIT & SWITCH SCAM) I was scheduled for a FREE consultation here to treat my acne scars. Once I arrived, Paul, the assistant, began talking about everything other than my acne scars. Seemed weird. But I later came to realize he was trying to turn my free consultation into a paid visit without my knowledge. Once I went to leave, they now said the FREE consultation was no longer free. Paul said the moment we started talking about CURRENT acne, the consultation was no longer free. (even though I wasn t talking about it, only he was) Then I realized why he was ignoring my real reason for the visit and trying to only talk about acne treatment the entire time. They wanted to get $ out of me for a consultation that was said to be free. Its called bait and switch. Period. Do not trust them or visit there office. They are nothing but a sales gimmick trying to peddle you useless lotions and acne medicine you can buy at half price at walgreens. I am now filling a BBB complaint. Stay clear of this place. Dont trust someone with your skin that you cant trust to bill you fairly.

One of my moms friends recommend Dr. woofter to me as I mentioned that I needed to get a spot on my leg looked at. Got an appointment within the next week. Went in to the appointment and once I mentioned I had lifeguarded for many years she insisted on a full body scan and completely ignored the intial reason I was there. She found a total of 5 places she wanted to biopsy (thats a lot considering I at the time was only 20 years old). After results came she wanted to remove more lets just say I ended up with three very large scars which devastated me. Came back for a check up 6 months later and she found more. Decided I needed a second opinion and went back to my original dermatologist and she reviewed the results and said that only one of the them were really necessary. Lets just say I never went back and wouldnt recommend.

Dr. Wolfter is a kind and caring doctor. I would recommend her to anyone. She takes time to listen to you and she is a very smart doctor. Her staff is great too!! I drive about 45 minutes to see her and she is well worth it. I give her 5 stars!!!!!
