I have been to the office one time and was impressed. Since we have moved 8 times in 11 years I have seen QUITE the parade of doctors and specialists, so I have a lot to compare to. I would consider this to be in my top 3 doctor experiences. I was able to get an appointment easily, within a few days of my call. The scheduler was super nice. The front desk person could use some training. She made no eye contact and didnt say "hello" let alone "welcome to Forman Dermatology" or "how are you?" or anything. I told her my name and that I was a few minutes early because I knew there would be new patient paperwork and she didnt look up or respond in any way. I was left standing there like, should I sit down? or...? I hesitated a few moments and right before I gave up and went to sit down she shoved a clipboard at me. Not exactly the welcome I expect from the person you choose put out front and center at your practice. I didnt wait very long to go back to a room, which was newer, clean and had its own private bathroom. The nurses assistant who took me back and did the intake was quiet, friendly and nice. I was seen by Jennifer and I cannot say enough good things about her. She is my new doctor crush. Knowledgeable, caring, considerate, helpful, informative, etc, etc. I had kind of a sensitive question about a sensitive area and she couldnt have been kinder and handled the issue right on the spot. I wish she could be my GP, as a matter of fact. And the frosting on the cake is that two days after my appointment I received in the mail a handwritten note from her on Forman Derm embossed stationary telling me how nice it was to meet me. And it included a personal comment as well: "I hope you both enjoyed your ice cream!" because my daughter chattered non-stop during the appointment about how we were going for ice cream afterwards. So there you have it. Other than the front desk attendant, I felt like a patient at a small town, small practice and not just another body they shuffle through in a day. It was very refreshing.

I was referred to Dr Forman by my dermatologist because my dermatologist was on vacation. I had these scabs on my leg that were getting worse and worse and finally I went to see Dr Forman. He took a biopsy of my leg and sent me to a great wound care Doctor to see what his thoughts were. From the wound care Doctors office I was sent to the hospital. I was in the hospital for 11 days with them running test and pumping me full of antibiotics for all different kinds of things. I was sent home from the hospital with a picc line and no diagnosis and told to make appointments with 3 different specialist so they could continue treatment. 3 days after Im out of the hospital I cant get an appointment for 3 weeks with anybody and leg continues to get worse. On the third day out of the hospital Dr Forman calls me on his own to make sure that I havent been swept under the rug. (which I had been) He got me into see him in the next two days and his office made all the appointments see the different doctors that I needed. He made sure that he saw me once a week to keep a close eye on my progress because he knew that it was a serious situation. He was the first doctor to take my situation seriously and get the ball rolling on finding out what happened to my leg. I ended up being a participant of USFs west coast which happens three times a year and is for speacial cases. Many doctors come in to see you like a round robin and they give there opinions. Dr Forman even showed up cross town to this for me so he could give his opinion. This man cares about his patients more than I have ever witnessed with any doctors. His office staff is also extremely helpful and always kind to everyone. By far the most efficient officeI have ever been to. I would recommend Dr Forman to anyone in the area!

Please save yourself the time and find a dermatologist who practices evidence-based medicine, and not just whatever he thinks after spending all of less than 10 minutes with you over two office visits! I was sent to this "dermatologist" by my workmans compensation for a very real and debilitating condition. Dr. Forman released me to go back to my work, even though we both knew I had been exposed to some type of contact allergen, after only seeing me twice during a two-week period. He said I could worry about skin patch testing should my skin flare up again (although it was still not 100% healed). Well Im sorry but my health and well being are more important than that hasty and rash (ha, no pun intended) decision. Instead I saw a REAL dermatologist at the University of South Florida who actually took the time to listen to me, evaluate me, and do the environmental/workplace skin patch testing, which revealed I was allergic to 2 chemical accelerants used to make the gloves I had to wear for my work. Oh, and the USF dermatologist also explained to me that the time to do the patch testing is NOT when your skin is flared up from contact dermatitis. Apparently Dr. Forman did not learn this in his "dermatology" residency and years of experience, although his sign out front says hes an "expert" on dermatitis. :/ I would not recommend him in the future (not that I chose him in the first place, as he was chosen for me by workmans comp), especially if your case is a little more complex... but what is so complex about getting skin patch testing done, a simple in-office procedure, something he even mentioned in the first place?! Beats me!!

12/15/15 - update - Dr. Forman just called to check in on me one week after my visit and to assuage any concerns I may have had (I had none). Glad to know he is a doctor that cares after the initial visit. I had a VERY nice visit with Dr. Forman yesterday even though I was concerned by some of the reviews posted. The facility is very modern and clean, the staff were polite and friendly and there were beverages and snacks in the waiting room. Dr. Forman introduced himself and explained everything about my procedure, steps, healing process, etc. I then mentioned my concern about some of the reviews I saw and he mentioned that they reach out to clients that post negative reviews to assuage any concerns but many of the "negative" ones are either fakes or do not use a real name that is in their system. This really put me at ease along with the fact that I was referred to Dr. Forman by a few other local doctors. I was also impressed with the fact that I met PERSONALLY with Dr. Forman and not a Physicians assistant or a nurse practitioner. I havent seen my personal MD in three years because he cuts costs and uses a PA - Dr. Forman obviously doesnt do this and makes it a point to meet with his patients - this means a LOT to someone like me.

Dr. Forman is one of the most respectful and personable doctor I have met in my career as a histotechnologist. Working for Forman Dermatology I witness how exemplary him and his staff are when it comes to the treatment and accomodation of his patients. My husband had a very painful and uncomfortable skin reaction which we thought was some sort of allergy to a plant or insect. We went to our primary twice and instead of figuring out the cause they simply gave a prescription for steroids on both occasions and ran blood work with no definitive diagnosis. We finally decided to make an appointment with Forman Dermatology since the reaction was lasting over 4 months. Our front end staff was so pleasant toward my husband and even though the patient lobby was full of patients they quickly processed the patients and got my husband into a room in less than 20 min from check in and paperwork. As soon as Dr Forman examined my husband he was able to make a definitive diagnosis! It was such a relief for Sanjeev to know what the cause is and to treat it accordingly. Sanjeev is now pain-free thanks to Dr. Forman. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who has a dermatology issue.
