I set up an appointment in July of last year. After the eye exam, and the contact exam, I was informed that my insurance would not cover either exam or my contacts until After November 1st, so I was required to pay for the eye exam and 60 days worth of contacts out of pocket, totaling around $330. I obliged, due to the fact that I did not have any other options . I was informed that due to a discount, and my insurance I would pay around the same total for a 1 year supply of contacts with my insurance . I reached out to Groveport eye care today to order my contacts, and was informed that my contacts would be well over $500 with my insurance . I was incorrectly informed, and was not given correct information. I paid for a service that I was led to believe would have been covered by my insurance, with the intent on getting a product for equal value. I could have just waited u till after November 1st, and gone somewhere with affordable products .

I love the doctor and the products. Although Im really unpleased with the fact that I had called in and told them my new not cheap sunglasses were super lopsided on my face but that I didnt get off till 445 and lived about 20 minutes away. The lady on the phone told me they would stay open until 505 for me to get here to get my glasses fixed because I told her I would be traveling the next day to TN and would be doing all outdoor stuff with the family I was visiting and needed my new (only worn once) sunglasses. I was able to leave work early which I did not get paid for and rushed to groveport to get this fixed. Well I got there at 502 and no one was there. So I dont get paid for leaving work early I spent the gas to get here and then they didnt even keep their word. Im highly disappointed and now I dont have sunglasses for the weekend.

im lucky in that i have good eyes. my vision is good so i dont need glasses. because of that, i dont make it a priority to get my eyes checked. my girlfriend, however, is blind without her glasses and contacts so she goes on a regular basis. she also doesnt like doing things alone so she scheduled an appointment for me too. it actually ended up being kind of fun. the doctor and her staff were friendly and easy to talk to. it felt more like hanging out than seeing a doctor. my vision is still doing well, but the doctor did tell me that i need to come more regularly for the health of my eyes. when my girlfriend went to order contacts after her exam, they were able to find a $200 rebate for her. it was a great experience for both of us. if she makes me go again, ill make sure my girlfriend makes appointments for us here.

I came in with no knowledge of my condition. They say the first signs of something bad starts in the eyes. The doctor took one look and asked if I had a history of HIV/AIDS or Leukemia. I was then transferred to an ophthalmologist and ophthalmologist surgeon. After a blood test at OSU, they determined I had a blood disease. I was three days away from dying when I arrived. Its hard for me to not give Groveport Eye Care the upmost respect and acknowledgement and achievement, because without them, I would not be here. I recommend them to anyone-- hopefully no one goes through what I went through.

My husband had the best eye exam yet at Groveport Eye Care a few months ago. In the past years he has seen quite a few doctors in other offices but he said this was the most detailed and informational he had ever experienced. And believe me when I say he is not easy to impress. Dr Stuckey is so professional and thorough. The quality of his glasses is amazing and he loves them, he says he sees so clearly now. I will schedule myself a checkup soon. If you are looking for a new eye doctor, look no further!!
