After moving to Ohio and needing to find someone to care for my peepers, I researched Eye Care Professionals and went to them based on some pretty stellar reviews. Unfortunately, after two exams, I have decided this is not the eye care group for me. My exams have always felt rushed and hurried, and I dont like that the time actually seeing the doctor is limited. Due to family history of eye problems, my previous eye doctor recommended a yearly dilated exam. A dilated exam always seems to be met with resistance by the staff with them wanting to push the up charge by using the Optomap. During my last visit, I again felt rushed and hurried through the exam, and not feeling I was given as much of a comprehensive exam as needed. Upon checking out, I was quoted an amount much higher then normal. When I questioned it, I was told that my employer had changed my vision insurance. After arguing with the girl at the desk, I contacted VSP and was informed that in fact the office had made an error and VSP would work to correct it. The next day I received a rather intimidating and condescending phone call from the office about them having to correct the issue. A few months later I went to order contacts and again had insurance billed wrong and had to fight to get the correct benefit applied. Not feeling that my last exam was that great and experiencing eye strain and blurry vision, I went to another practice for a second opinion. That doctor besides not only being nice as could be and taking time to conduct a through exam, including dilation, found two issues that she felt ECP had missed or not bothered to tell me about.

This was my first experience with an eye doctor, and I couldnt be happier! The exam process was efficient. The entire staff was competent at what they do, and all were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Dr. Miller was extremely easy to talk to and explained concerns and processes clearly. This is the only doctors office Ive ever found that doesnt make me feel nervous to go back.

Dr. Kuhlmann and Dr. Miller are capable and accomplished eye professionals. They take pride in caring for your eyes as part of your total health. I feel confident that they know what prescription or medication is good for my sight. It is always pleasant and comfortable for me. Our family has been using these doctors for over 10 years.
