If you want to get double charged for contacts and have hidden fees thrown in as well... this is your spot. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. Updated: 9/15/2014 I met with the billing representative (Becky) this afternoon and I should clarify a few details on my experience so youre not blind sided when making an appointment (Or well after in our case): 1. This doctors office charges you extra for a contact lens evaluation. At least two other doctors offices in the area (At least two that I know of: Truitt and Truitt of Marysville and Indian Mound of Heath) do not charge you outside of your annual visit for a contact lens evaluation (Which is covered by most insurance plans minus the cost of contacts). According to Becky, a contact lens evaluation is $75 at a minimum. "Depending on how many tasks are involved, (i.e. measure eye, try contact on, re-measure eye, come back for a consult, etc.) the price can go up from there." Again, these are fees that are NOT charged at two other doctors offices that Ive been to. 2. "Contact Lens Evaluations" and "Contact Lens Fittings" are not the same according to Dr. Webster. If you are just coming in for an annual check up, that is a Contact Lens Evaluation. If you are wanting to try on different contact lens, this is a Contact Lens Fitting and will surely cost you more. Please note that these subtle differences are not explained to you unless you ask...which leads me to my third point. 3. The customer service here, outside of Dr. Webster is absolutely the worst Ive ever had to deal with. I honestly feel that the way my wife and I were spoken to by Becky in the office was less than I expected from Dr. Websters staff. We will most definitely be taking our business to an office that cares a bit more about their customers.

I went here years ago and after taking my son again recently I remembered why I stopped going. The same person who registered my son at the front desk also took him back and did the computer exam which checks his prescription. She also did the eye chart. After that the doctor came in and spent less than seven minutes with him even though he ended up needing glasses for the first time. She came across as ingenuine and condescending when I attempted to ask a few questions. She then escorted us to the frame area. We were shown a variety of frames without regard to which ones would be covered by my insurance- when I asked about this the employee said "well I didnt bring out any $500 frames!" I was charged for service that I hadnt agreed to and in the end walked out with a hefty bill and a feeling of being very dissatisfied with the care my son had received.

I had been seeing the same eye doctor for 20+ years and was reluctant to switch. I am sure glad I did. The examination equipment is state of the art and felt I had the most comprehensive exam possible. I interacted with at least 5 staff members and all were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I was made to feel I was part of a family. I went to Powell Vision 2 years ago because I was not happy with the selection of frames my current place offered. I had run into a few people who were wearing amazing glasses and asked them were they came from. All of them said Powell Vision, so naturally that is were I went. So when it came time to have an examination, my experience with Powell Vision was so amazing, I decided to give them a try. They have a customer for life.

This vision center was listed as a provider for Anthem Blue View insurance. My co-pay through my insurance is $10. The exam was professional and thorough. However I was surprised when checking out to find that I had an extra $87 charge on my invoice for a Contact Lens exam. The sales person said the charge was standard and pretty common. I wish I would have been told about the extra costs when coming in as a new patient with insurance. I had budgeted for my lens and the $10 exam fee not expecting extra fees. In the past ive paid less than $100 for an eye exam with no insurance. Will not return for my next exam

Our family has been patients of Dr. Webster for 15 years. The care that Dr. Webster gives is by far the best eye care that I have received. I am a contact lens wearer and have always had a difficult time getting contacts that fit my eyes and give me good vision. Through many different trials, Dr. Webster was able to find and fit me with contacts that have given me the best vision that I have ever had!! Many, many thanks to him. In addition, his staff is the best. They are always so kind, professional and accommodating no matter what the situation. Love this practice!!!!

I have been going to Doctor Webster since he started in powell. I dont think you could get a better doctor. I feel he is very well trained, and can answer all you question. Once he had my husband go to a specialist because he was concerned about his eye and wanted a second opinion.. I fell very safe with my eyes at Dr. Websters.
