UH is great as long as you dont need a diagnosis. I have been to UH Urgent Care twice - once with a rib injury, once when I felt something rupture in my lower abdomen. I literally felt it rupture with liquid running out. The pain was horrific but subsided enough for me to drive to ER. Everybody was super nice, super professional, they did a CT scan, found nothing, and finally sent me home with a diagnosis of "Abdominal pain." So in other words, my diagnosis was the same as my complaint. Nice. The doc said, "You can follow up with Dr. So-and-so." In other words, get outta here. And I pay for this. My ex, who is an MD, was mad at ME, saying "Why didnt you have them do an ultrasound??" Im like Um because I dont make the decisions. This syndrome - of being really nice but missing the boat - has been, in my experience, system-wide. I am the kind of person who is extremely healthy. I am athletic and most of my complaints are sports related and sometimes they are severe. My general reception at UH has been thinly veiled disbelief. Like they are barely bothering to hide the fact that they really think Im making everything up. The only thing they really do with any enthusiasm is send you 50 million surveys to fill out. UH is the closest to my house but next time Im going elsewhere. This is, in my opinion, the state of American medicine today. If they find out whats wrong with you or not, theyre still going to bill you. So whats the motivation? Zero.

I recently brought my husband to this facility for a head injury after being refused care from the Medina facility, and was incredibly impressed with the friendliness, competence and efficiency of all the staff. The nurse who brought us back for the exam was very friendly and helpful and communicated with us very well everything that needed to happen. The doctor who administered treatment to the injury on my husbands head worked efficiently and ruled out unnecessary diagnostics (such as a costly CT scan) based simply by examining him and talking with him. He treated the cut quickly with some medical glue when I thought he might need stitches and then set us on our way. Although its a few more miles out of our way, I will always come to the Twinsburg facility for any treatment we might need in the future.

Today June 6th 2017 I visited the UH Twinsburg Lab to have blood drawn. I was seated in a chair that had blood squirted all over it. I pointed it out to the lady who was taking my blood, she blamed it on the other woman in the lab and told me that she doesnt clean up after herself!!! Nasty!!!! This happened the last time in March 2017. I had bloid drawn and was seated in a bloody seat. The same lady blamed it on a kicking & screaming baby.. I tried to report these incidences by phone and was magically disconnected both times. These dirty and careless employees that are taking blood from people are going to spread disease this way!!! Since I cant talk to anyone at UH that cares. I posted this. I wont be back...

Visited urgent care beginning of July for my wife as we were in town visiting family. Front desk staff does not know what they are doing. The address they had on file was old address and they said they would update it, a month later i call the billing department and after waiting 20-30 mins to speak to someone the address is still not correct and am told my wife needs to call to update address. This should have be done in the first place! If you can avoid going here I recommend it. I would give zero stars if I could.

Warning, check with your insurance company before going to physical therapy here. They bill your insurance company as a facility instead of an office visit. I should have a $20 co-pay which should have resulted in a $180 bill instead I received a bill for $1549.35, because of the way they billed my visits. What ever happened to customer service, they should have told me. I received good treatment, but could have received the same service for a lot less. Another example of big companies taking advantage of their customers.

If you need a family physician I recommend staying far away from Twinsburg UH. Whenever you need assistance outside of your actual visit take a number and wait. Phone calls are returned within 24 hours is a serious joke. Dont ever feel that you can get answers outside your visit, you will be only dreaming. Patient care is some of the worst ever experienced and this is not a one time experience with them......I will no longer use UH and would only like to save others from serious aggravation.

I had a scheduled appointment here and was asked to come in early for my appointment only to wait over an hour and have to cancel my appointments for work as a result. People who came in after me were sent in before despite me informing the front desk I had been here since 11:15 for my 11:45 appointment and it was now 12:30pm. Never again.

My mother is in the ER the nurse Paul was outstanding with her and with the family. I wish all ER had people who put in the time. The other folks here are great. Keep up the great job. I thank God for Paul.
