Ive been going here for two years now for my cat and dog. Theyre a bit pricey (for me anyways), but I think its worth every penny. They know all my pets by name, do checkup calls the next day if needed, and are very gentle with both of my pets--I trust them completely. Would recommend them to anyone in the area. Edit: It makes me sad that Im editing this, but I dont think Ill be returning here. I trusted them with the care of my 1 year old dog, and they tried pushing products on me, saying that these products were only available through vets which isnt true--the two products are found at pet stores and online. If they were just honest and said, "Here are the products we recommend. You can get X here and Y at this store, but we offer it for a similar price and we can save you a trip to the store," I definitely wouldve just bought the products there with no questions asked. Instead, they seemed annoyed that I was going to buy the food and nutritional supplement on my own and kept saying that only vets carry the products while I had both products up on my screen. (By the way, clients can hear everything being said in the back rooms and hallway). I passed on one product because it was $16 dollars cheaper at the store, and bought the food because it was the same price as the store. While I dont have a problem spending money on my pets, it was really dishonest that they acted this way, and their attitude towards my decision wasnt very professional. I understand they need to sell products to make a profit, but I personally wouldve appreciated a more honest approach, especially since I was already fond of them to begin with and wouldnt have a problem supporting the clinic. If they couldnt be honest about two small products, how can I easily trust them in the future without questioning if every procedure they do is absolutely necessary. Im really disappointed that Ill be in search of a new clinic in the area.

Been taking my dog here for 3 years since I adopted him, and its fine for yearly checkups. However, Im a college student and felt completely taken advantage of this afternoon when an emergency came up and I needed to get my dog in. I asked for his yearly checkup plus an exam to figure out why he was chewing on himself. Turns out it was fleas, as I learned from the aides complaining loudly behind a closed door how "people never check their dogs before coming in." Regardless, I asked how much medication was and was told it was $7 per pill, two pills needed to rid him of his infestation. A usual yearly checkup with boosters is about $120, but I left with a $245 bill full of medication I was pressured into buying and other tests I didnt ask for. Highly unprofessional considering my current financial situation. Ill be searching for another vet, and be sure to ask what youre getting before agreeing to have anything administered to your pet.

We love this Clinic, Wonderful people ! You can tell, your Spirit can feel it, that the entire staff, from Diane at the front desk, to the vet techs like Carol and Laura AND especially Dr. Hogseth, ( my favorite Dr. ever, pet or Human ;-) that they really really LOVE and treat your pets EXACTLY as they would their own. Weve had two of our dogs that recently came down with serious illnesses. When one of our dogs had to be kept overnight, Diane and Dr.Hogseth both stayed really late to ensure our pet was getting all the care needed. On one occasion Dr. Hogseth came back in on her off day, just to check on our dog. As I said, WONDERFUL people. It was very comforting for us to know, to feel, that the staff was equally concerned and understood what we were going through. Thanks for reading. Have a Blessed day

Best Vets in the Cincinnati area! Because of their amazing work and dedication they saved my cats life when she was really sick and gave two more years with her before the inevitable as a 19 year old cat. The whole time through her care they were supportive, knowledgeable, honest, and just great all around! My girls are/were senior citizens so they have health issues and Lakota taught me a lot on how to care for them! Highly recommended and Ive lived in three different states with my girls, best vet Ive had with them! BTW YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Excellent care does cost as some other reviews mentioned. Every state I lived in I paid more than the average budget vet, but I only want the best for my babies! Lakota is the best!

I took my dog into this vet clinic and had just had a expensive weekend and didnt have a whole lot of money left over and an emergency happened with my dog were I had to take her in i told them i had a x amount of dollers to spend and the lady stood outside the door whispering about how i only had so much money and believe me u can hear everything the vet was very rude to me and if you are not someone that keeps a large checking account this is not the place to go its in west chester and that sums it up as were i am going with this the location is perfect for the snoby customer service i recieved and thats not ok for any place that offers a service and charges crazy amounts for every little thing

We took our dog, Lucy, to Lakota Hills from the time we got her as a puppy until yesterday, when we had to let her go. Dr. Meyer, Dr. Carter, and their entire staff over the course of the 15 years we dealt with them were professional, supportive, and loving of Lucy. Everyone there ALWAYS went the extra mile for both the pet and the owner. I would never take my dog anywhere else. Quality people, quality establishment.

All of our animals go to Lakota Hills. They offer great service and love our animal friends. We went somewhere else when they were closed one time and had a horrible experience. Vets have very little regulation. The vets at Lakota hills are the best. I would not go anywhere else!

Expensive to say the least. People are nice, care is great but expensive.
