I started taking my first dog to Dr. Bob in 1992 when he was up in Walnut Hills. He was a recommendation from a friend. They loved him and thought his prices were reasonable. I quickly agreed. When I moved to Northern Kentucky and had an emergency with my dog, I took him to a different vet. They told me I needed a bunch of tests which cost a decent amount of money. When those tests were inconclusive they sent me to a specialist who wanted to perform even more costly tests. I declined. Instead I called Dr. Bob, explained the situation (which he thought could be a bladder infection) and he recommended a simple medicine I picked up from him. In 2 days the dog was back to normal! I learned my lesson. Dont use anyone but Dr. Bob. My girlfriend (now my wife) later took her cats. Later in life my dog got sick with cancer. Dr. Bob explained the options to me very diplomatically. I chose to spend some time with the dog and then have him put down. He had lived a good life and I didnt want to subject him to chemo, etc. Dr. Bob performed the procedure. My last memories of Porter were so peaceful. I thanked him for that. When my first dog passed and it was time to get a new dog a year later there was no question that Dr. Bob would be our vet. The drive from NKY to Walnut Hills was no problem. Now that he is downtown, he is so easy to get to. The staff and Dr. Bob over the years have been so compassionate. He will always be our vet!

Do yourself a favor and start a new relationship with Dr. Bob. I cannot speak highly enough of the treatment my pets and I have received in the wise hands of this veterinarian. He has my complete trust. Heres what youll get: straightforward information; if a home remedy will work, thats what he gives you. VERY fair prices. Compassion, patience, humor, and EXTENSIVE knowledge gained from decades of experience. I would recommend Plum Street Pet Clinic to every pet owner in the city. Worth the drive. Worth the worry of seeing a new vet. Your pet will be well taken care of, and seen quickly to boot (forget 1-2 month wait times for an appointment- they will see you in hours or days). If youre looking for a new vet- you found one.

Dr Bob and his staff are fantastic! I cant say enough great things about the treatment theyve provided for our dogs over the years weve been taking them there. Dr Bob is patient, professional and incredibly kind, and has always taken the time to explain the technical details of whats going on with your pets health and the best approach for going forward. His staff are compassionate and very understanding and accommodating when you are in a time bind or worried about your pet. The prices are more than fair, (a sedated tooth clean/removal for a fraction of what I was quoted at another clinic!) and I trust their anesthesiology completely, which is a huge relief if you own a "smush-face" pup.

I took my dog to Plum Street Pet Clinic for a routine surgical nails trimming. His nails were trimmed so far back that he can not walk, stand, run, or jump without yelping in pain. Ive had this procedure done for years by Dr. Bob) and this is the first time the nails have been trimmed back so far and definitely the first time the dog has been in pain for days and days afterwards. I returned to Plum Street Pet Clinic and politely described the situation and asked for either a refund of the fee ($122.50) or having the next surgical nail trimming done for free. I was told neither could happen because of lawyers, etc. I find this response to be irresponsible and unacceptable.

I have been taking my cats to Dr. Biederman for 20+ years and cannot say enough good things about him. He has always been kind and caring and, when I had to put them to sleep, compassionate. He has always made time for me and kept me in the loop when one of my cats was having a crisis. I recommend him to all my friends who are looking for a vet. And even though he moved downtown where parking is a bit of a hassle I followed him because I value him that much. (And really, have not had any problems with the parking either!) If you are looking for a wonderful vet for your animals, dont hesitate to check out the Plum Street Pet Clinic.

Its stressful having a sick fur-baby and stressful having to take them to the vet. But Dr. Bob and the staff are amazing! They make the whole process as stress-free as possible on me and Penelope (my kitty). Dr. Bob has given me a lot of helpful advice as a pet owner, as well as alternatives to medication. Yes, sometimes they need some medicine (which has been given when needed), but sometimes the problem can be fixed by behavior changes. Id rather fix the underlying cause then a quick medical fix. I recommend this clinic to any pet owner!

THIS IS IN REFERENCE ONLY TO CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND NOT PET CARE. I left a voicemail during the posted office hours - no call back. I made it quite clear I had serious concerns about my cat; explained a prior diagnosis; and was prepared to arrive with all her records. Two-and-a-half days later - crickets. I will be moving on to the other highly-rated local veterinarians, but am deeply disappointed by this. I am willing to update and change this rating should I receive at least a call back.

Dr. Bob was kind, professional and efficient. My appointment lasted all of 10 minutes and I had a prescription written for my pet. He never tried to talk me into getting any extra tests or xrays, like Ive experienced at other vet clinics, instead he explained what was likely wrong and how it can be effectively remedied with supplements. Easiest vet visit ever.

Dr. Bob and his staff are kind, compassionate, and highly qualified. I think one of the other reviewers put it best - just go there once and you will never even think of going anywhere else. His prices are very fair, and youll instantly realize that he wants to take just as good of care of your animals as you do. I cant recommend him enough!

So relieved to find a great vet in the city. No wait time, incredibly friendly and personable. It was immediately clear that dr bob cares and takes his time to explain treatments/conditions to you. Ive felt like just a number at other practices. Definitely not here. And the price is incredibly reasonable. Coming back.

Dr. Bob and staff are awesome. They assessed my cats problems accurately and charged me a fair rate to get her healthy and happy again. Ive been taking my cats to Bob for literally decades and hes always treated me right. Highly recommended as compared to the new vet shops that charge an arm and a leg for services.

I went to several different vets in cinci and ky for my cat, paco, and dr bob was my last try at a vet and saved my poor babes life! Not only was the staff extremely sweet and understanding, but his honesty and knowledge of everything was amazing. Highly recommend! Dont waste your time or money anywhere else
