This place saved my dogs life!! Courtney was AHHH-maaaaaziiiing! The doctor was sweet as can be and looked like a gentle Will Farrell. The receptionist and front desk ladies were absolutely lovely. All the cute items in the shop are adorable and verrrry reasonably priced. I LOOOVE PETS IN NEED! They made it possible for a person like me, with a disability and a fixed income, to be able to provide top notch care for my three furbabies. They didnt judge me for having three rescue pitbulls or for being poor or for being disabled. I can not express enough how comfortable they made me feel while providing excellent care for my dog...who needed emergency pyometra surgery. The staff are volunteers!! To me, this shows a true compassion for animals. Nothing like what I have experienced at private veterinary offices, where money seems to be priority over caring for your pet. My dog was dying and my previous vet was going to let her die without $1300.00 up front. Mind u, I was working off of a gofundme page so my dog would have died in the meantime, trying to scrape up that kind of money!! I will never go to another private vet. I am team Pets In Need for life! I was able to get a heartworm test and prevention tablet for FIVE DOLLARS!! They even gave me a FREE 50lb bag of high quality limited ingredient grain free dog food!! And I bought a cute bandana for only a dollar. If there is a Heaven, there will surely be a special spot (beside the rainbow bridge perhaps) for all the staff and volunteers!! Love you all! You get what you pay for, this is very cheap and its better than nothing. But for god sake people dont be mean to the staff for not having your kinda free food. Expect your dogs to get fleas, they give a flea treatment for free I think it is. But I recommend telling them you will apply it later, wash your dog straight in from the car and then apply it. Otherwise, they seem to always been in a hurry from overbooking so your animals dont really seem to get good care, they just get care. As long as you are the one to tell the vet whats wrong, they do not search hard. They look at teeth and give you tons of guilt if you dont PAY for monthly heartworm for you pets. I talked to the dogs in the woods and they never heard of no pills. But its okay, my 10 year old dog has lived in 4 states and is outside a lot. Never tested positive for heartworm, it seems that entire industry is built around you paying monthly so your dog doesnt get hit by lightning. YAY CAPITALISM. Give your guilt trip to someone else, never going back.

Found this place by way of internet as I was searching for low income vets because my cat was sick and Im broke. I called and they gave me an appointment for the very next day. Low cost included the exam and medicine for my cat. Every person there was so friendly. By the next day my cat was back to normal! Now Im taking both my cats back in a few weeks for shots. Glad they are there and would recommend to anyone. Great place and people!

Great staff and great service. They really care about the animals and their owners. They also promote healthy practices for pets such as dental cleanings, monthly heart worm and flea prevention, and more. While sometime the wait may be a bit long, they do their very best to get you in for your appointment quickly. If you are on a tight budget and need fantastic care for your pets, this is definitely the place to go!

Wonderful non-profit animal care clinic. They help low income pet owners get the care their animals deserve. Services they provide include; shots, flea & tick treatments, worming, nail trimming, and other minor ailments & illnesses. They are usually able to provide vouchers to spay/neuter your pets. My dog was even given a referral to obtain a much needed teeth cleaning, as a senior pet.
