This clinic is excellent when it comes to the physical care of animals. Twice I needed a vet for an emergency and they made themselves available immediately. However, the after care is rather unpleasant. Two of my cats needed special medication to help with crystals in their urine. Both were in danger of a urinary tract blockage (one was recovering from a blockage). We were given a partial dose and told that it was important they not miss a single dose, and that the rest of the medication would come before we ran out. Well, we ran out, and our cat missed 2 doses. The initial explanation was that theyd flat out forgotten to order the medicine. Recently I was told the pharmacy that makes the medicine forgot to send it. Considering our cats were very near a life threatening blockage, we were naturally upset with the lack of medicine and the poor excuse behind it. What owner wouldnt? We recently got a puppy to train as a service dog. I called Thursday and requested a statement on a letterhead saying that we have been to this vet before. After work, at 930 pm, there was a voicemail stating that they didnt understand what I wanted and to call them back. So I call on Saturday and am told that the people authorized to use a letterhead arent in until Monday and I could get my letter then. The only problem is we were on the way to pick up the dog sunday, and were asked to provide vet reference. After an unnecessary amount of time requesting and bargaining for a simple letter, I was told that they would get special permission to use the letterhead and have it ready for me that afternoon. About a week later, I get a call from the manager who tells me that due to our abrasivness when it came to issues with our service, we were being declined further service, or, I could continue to use their services so long as my mother, the person the bills went to, did not have further contact with any pet wow associates. Initially, I was reluctantly ok with this because I do like and appreciate the healthcare provided by the vets here. However after some thought, I decided that if a vet clinic was not able to handle the consequence of upset owners due to their mistakes, then I could no longer trust that they genuinely care about my animals. Today, I spoke with them about refilling my cats medication, who has a thyroid issue. I told them that because I am being thrown out, Im honestly not interested in spending more money than I have to with them. I was told I could get a prescription for 30 days, or I could get pills, not both, even though my cat will be on this medicine for life. I had to call again and speak to a manager in order to get what I originally asked for, which was one weeks supply of pills and a prescription. I picked up my records and medication today, only to find that my prescription has no refills on it, but the records indicate I have 3 refills left. Despite the excellent medical care, I do not recommend PetWow to people who want to have a say in how their pets are cared for. We have spent more than $1,000 in less than a munth at this place, and they apparebtly jave enough service to turn people away. My last several interactions have felt very much "my way or the highway", and the fact that weve been dismissed supports that thought.

I took my dog in for a routine visit... When I first arrived, no one even spoke to me for 10-15 minutes. After finally being checked in, I had to wait in the lobby for 30 minutes before I was even taken to a room! After finally being in the room it was another 20 mins before the doctor came in and the exam only took 2 mins.... I waited over an hour for a 2 min exam... ridiculous! The whole place seemed so unorganized... Had my dog been severly ill, I shutter to think how long it would have taken for her to receive proper care.I will not be going back to this clinic!!!

Incident #1: Took cat in for respiratory infection. Dr. diagnosed with heart worms and wanted to do all sorts of blood test and x-rays. When pressed for why diagnosed with heart worms, logic didnt make sense. Insisted Dr. treat for respiratory issue. Cat fine now (no heart worms). Incident #2: Completely misdiagnosed my cat with an enzyme disorder that had me considering putting him to sleep. Took him to another vet who diagnosed him with whip (or something like that) works. Strong dewormer did the trick.

I am furious. Took my dog in twice for grooming both times he came home with fleas. This past time I brought him home from this place he has had it the worst hes ever had. Everytime I check him he has more & more. I overheard two ladies talking about the cats having fleas which upset me knowing I experienced him having some first time I took him. Im very upset. Hes been doing nothing but scratching, licking, & has been bleeding due to it.

We adopted a dog a week ago from the SAAP and we took him in for a check up. We made an appointment prior and didnt have to wait long at all! The staff was super friendly and the nurse and vet were wonderful with our new dog, who is afraid of new people. The vet and nurse were very informative and answered all of our questions , plus the total cost of the trip was very affordable! We will definitely be coming back!

Took my long haired cat in for a much needed shave and a bath. She was an abandoned cat, so I dont know Id shed ever been groomed before, but they were so good with her. They did a wonderful job, and their prices are AWESOME. Called all over looking for someplace affordable, caring and close and finally found it here. I will definitely be going back the next time my little girl needs grooming.

Dr. Cheryl Myers was absolutely wonderful when my 15 year old dog got sick she helped with a treatment plan that helped her stay with us for a while longer. When it was time to put her down she was very sympathetic yet professional she helped my whole family deal with the situation. She was great with my dog and I appreciated the whole teams support.

This is the ONLY place I trust with my fur babies!! I called one day because my dog was on the verge of dying on me and nobody would help me! I took her to Noahs ark and they wanted money not to help my dog. I called pet wow and they took her in right away and worked with me on payments! They called me everyday with updates on my pup

Always a friendly and welcoming place. We take bot of our cats here and are never disappointed. The staff always remembers us and are super nice. They also offer lots of mobile services that I dont take advantage of. I believe theyll come see your pet at your home and even groom it. All around one of the. Best vets in the city.

Our groomer recently retired and we really werent looking forward to the bad haircuts usually experienced when trying to find someone new to cut our Bichons (they seem to think theyre poodles). But Lindsey at Pet Wow is well acquainted with the breed and did a fantastic job. Highly recommended.
