This is one of the poorest mental health providers I have ever had the opportunity to be in contact with... The very thought that my family member with mental illness will have to end up dead before anything can be done to protect her from herself or hurting other blows my mind... I wanted to tear my hair out during the appointment where I sat with my family member asking about how to get her meds regulated and getting cut off by the doctor. watching the doctor cut my sister off who was asking for help and ignoring the fact that maybe my family and I were not given the correct information regarding her medication. WOW... if I want a quick lunch I will go through a drive through but when it comes to my health I am not interested in a "In and Out Service provider" if you cant handle the pressure get some help or retire... This place does a disservice to its clients...

This organization is incredibly negligent in providing the so called "help" they say they provide to the mentally ill! The other reviews are correct in that you cannot get anything other than voicemail when calling and there is NO option to reach anyone in the case of an emergency. News Flash!: It is an emergency when a patient misses an appointment in December and the assigned case worker does not follow up as to why the patient missed the appointment. The result is that the patient runs out of medication(s) that allow them to "live independently in the community" as there mission statement implies. VERY frustrating! This incompetence interferes with the patient and there familys well being.

So far, and my experience is limited to the last month or so, I would say their services are outstanding. Beyond my wildest expectations (of course after 40 years of trying to get help, my expectations were lower than low.) Anyway, it is a nice surprise. Heaven should be half so good as what is apparently what is being provided by Sequoia.

They feel just fine about lying to their patients. Called and set up an intake for medication management. Made it very clear on the phone thats what I was coming in for. Weeks later, I get to my appointment and am told they refuse to manage my meds. Worthless liars wont even do their job.

I agree with JD, care to patients is not the priority of the administration or the house manager & counselors. I have seen the mental health clinicians take exception care with the clients but not a unified organization. Lack professionalism on every count!

Ive been going to Sequoia for 19 months, for anxiety and depression, nothing but a positive experience. I was reluctant to go to counseling, I didnt think it would help, but it has quite a bit. Its not a fast process but every little bit helps.

Unprofessional. Patient care is a secondary concern to their staff. Impossible to get help with this company over the phone. Extremely rude support employees.
