I used to go to a much bigger office that tried unsuccessfully to manage growth by implementing a tech-heavy version of the Ford assembly line production model. Predictably, the effect of this approach was to narrow the competencies of the admin staff to such an impractical extent that I could never get straight answers to simple questions. Thats why I switched to South Hilyard Clinic. I see Dr. Bovee who is my kind of doctor: smart, polite, efficient. The smaller size of SH Clinic has the major advantage of retaining a highly competent admin staff who are actually motivated and trained to solve problems. Ive had several problems in the last couple years with my insurance company, for example, which are never fun or easy to fix, but the staff at SH Clinic resolved these problems for me as quickly as one could hope. I also appreciate that I never have to wait an unreasonable amount of time for a scheduled appointment - they dont seem to overbook the doctors, so I know I can get in and out without a hassle. Id highly recommend this clinic to people who are fed up with the anonymity and inefficiency of large scale practices and institutions. The quality of health care is high and you wont get jerked around by paper-pushing idiots.

This review is for Jan Lintz. I have never had such an open, caring, helpful, thorough experience with a medical professional in my life. Jan is the first medical pro that I have ever trusted is assuring that I have proper care, mostly because she has proven to be a thoughtful, well-informed and modern medical professional, but also because she has never assumed anything about my health or medical background, which is a common issue that I have dealt with in the past. She knows her stuff, she does research, she looks for the least invasive way to deal with an issue. If she ever leaves South Hilyard, I will follow her wherever she goes! I cant speak highly enough about how much I respect and appreciate the hard work she does and the impeccable care she has provided me.

Jan Lintz has recently become the primary care provider for our entire family. She has been incredibly thorough, compassionate, and responsive to all of our needs. She has caught issues with blood work missed by our previous physician, facilitated referrals to specialists when needed, co-ordinated multiple opinions, and physical therapy, and been caring and hands on through out. I find her to be an exceptional, professional provider! I feel very lucky to have found her. I feel like I have found, not only a wonderful, skilled, primary provider, but a friend. I look forward to a long term professional relationship.

I have been a patient for years. But lately their desk staff (not all but some), have shown little to no training. I was denied antibiotics for a tooth abscess, so I sit here in pain until my dentist opens up on Monday. Find another primary care office.

I have been a patient of the South Hilyard Clinic now for the better part of 10 years. Since becoming a patient I have been very happy with the entire staff. Dr. Copperman is one of the best most friendly caring doctors that I have came across.
