My explaination why it should have been negative 5 stars: On a trip to the Newport Beach our dog swallowed water and became very, very sick (vomiting every 20 minutes) overnight into the next day. After he began to quickly decline we decided he needed medical attention and headed home to his regular vet (Banfield) but as we got to Lincoln City his health got alot worse and we sought a local vet open on Sunday. Our search brought us to THIS PLACE! AFTER CALLING IN ADVANCE WE ARRIVED only to be told we need 500 CASH OR ELSE! ( AND WE STILL WOULD HAVE TO WAIT TO SEE IF THEY HAVE TIME). On Sunday we were a little cash strapped only having 250 dollars cash and the rest could have gone on a debit or credit card. They told us no! All they would take was cash. Credit or debit wasnt good enough to save my dog! What kind of place or Vet would do this? Along with the payment issues their attitude was unusually bad! Once we realize that they couldnt care less about the health of our dog we took of headed towards a vet somewhere willing to keep mg dog alive. They offer zero options to help ease his pain or problems until we get to a better, more caring Vet. Places like this shouldnt exist in Oregon ( the dog friendly, lovin state) where the well-being of that precious animal means something. Update on his status: He is holding on once we had Banfield vets waiting on us in Portland, yes, they charged us a pretty penny to nurse him back to health but were reasonable on method of payment and they ask no question once they saw what state he was in, they just rushed to fix him.

My husband and I moved recently to Otis, Or and the house we bought came furnished with a little, 12 yr old, female cat the previous owners had just abandoned. After getting her accustomed to us & being able to hold her, we found a puncture wound in her fur that was infected. I called the nearest vet, LCAC, and I was able to bring the kitty in the next day. Scott, Dana, Dr Shannon & the whole crew were so great. What I appreciated , besides their wonderful, friendly, caring manner, was the fact that they dealt with the immediate issue and treated that. (Our previous vet in Newport spent more time trying to guilt us into taking out their yearly pet insurance than they did caring for our pet). Thank you, Lincoln City Animal Clinic. You truly care for our pets and well never go anywhere else.

The first time I set foot in this clinic was about 9 years ago when my sisters cat needed help passing from renal failure. They were so kind and compassionate that my sister, my brother and myself have taken all our furballs to them ever since. Theyve been exceptional with a Lhasa Apso with anxiety. I dont think my German Shepherd even knows what a needle feels like because theyre so good at keeping her distracted during vaccinations. She actually loves going to the vet and gets excited to see them. And theyve been patient and loving with my kitty, who would rather hide in my coat than interact with most people. I recommend them to every person I know who has adopted a furry baby.

The caring staff is so wonderful. I called them when it was time for our beloved pet to make the final trip to the Rainbow Bridge, having never met them before we were so impressepmd by their caring nature. The veterinarian John and Sally both treated Griz as though he was their own loved family member. Peggy and I are so grateful for making a heart wrenching moment a little more bearable. They handled all of the details for us including cremation and even ordering a urn for our Grizzy. So thanks Deb for what you do and John, Sally and everyone else who helped us through this. My small dog got into some dark chocolate. My husband and I were very worried and contacted Dove Lewis, they told us what to expect and what they would do if we brought him in. We did bring him in and they were so nice and friendly! Our dog loved them and didnt seem upset by the whole experience. They were very helpful with explaining everything that was going on to us, and gave us specific directions on what to do when we got home. Our dog is feeling better now and we have Dove Lewis to thank for that!!

Took Diesel in for ear and itchy skin at 1. Great service. Then we came home and he got in a fight with a neighbor dog and had to rush him back at 4:45 to fix a horrible gash in his cheek. Great service again. He now has a shaved cheek and several staples. He is wearing the funny cone. Thank you Dr Brooks and staff.

I recently had to have my dog that I had for 17 years put to sleep. The people here were so wonderful. It was by no means easy but they sure helped me with the process. They were there for me when I took him in ,when I picked up the ashes. I felt the whole time that they cared as much as I did.

The vets are compassionate, they have been able to help us on several occasions. The missing star is because, while they have an after hours answering service, the on-call vet is only on-call until midnight. This means that in some cases you need to drive to Corvallis for emergencies.

Very very pleased with my experience here! They got me in right away for a walk in right before they closed and were extremely professional and friendly and very gentle with my dog. The staff here really care about your pet! I will definitely be back for other services.

My dog has been going here for 12, of her 12 1/2 years! She whines with excitement when I turn into the parking lot!! She has had 3 surgeries here, all of her shots, etc!! LOL!! This Lab loves her Vet Kriss Hoffman, and everyone there!! Thank you all!!!

Here once mire, MrBJr hurt right front leg. Dr. Murphy found bone chip in middle toes of right foot. Pain meds and rest. Wonderful care and good news. My Emotional Support Animal survives once again!! Go MrBJr (Oh No) Rest MrBJr <3.

Since there are no ER Veterinary clinics nearby this clinic has after hours availability for emergencies--covered by doctors on-call.
