TLDR; Skip Dr. Kaady if anxiety is something you deal with... But if your tooth hurts more than your anxiety and you need a quick check up, then go for it. Dont expect any help calming your anxiety with him though. I made an appointment to see Dr. Kaady because my tooth was aching so bad at night. I have a dentist in my hometown but since this was an emergency, I needed to see someone in town immediately. My family and I have seen the same dentist my entire life and we have built a trusting relationship with each other. I was really hesitant to see a dentist in town but alas my tooth wouldnt let me. I chose to give Bridgetown Dental a call because of their stellar reviews on Yelp and other platforms. I spent days sifting through Yelp reviews and google reviews to find a dentist to cater to my anxiety. I did my research and even looked at their website. Under Dr. Kaadys "Our People" section, the first sentence about himself is as follows: "Dr. Ziad Kaady is dedicated to making sure his patients are comfortable and in control of their own dental care." We both know that was a fluke... I have to say Im really disappointed in Dr. Kaady. While his staff is extremely patient and understanding Dr. Kaady lacks empathy for people dealing with anxiety and I also got an extremely condescending vibe from him because I was uncomfortable and told him I was an anxious person. I felt really really rushed. I understand he has a lot of patients to see, but my anxiety is something thats a huge deal for me and Im really disappointed I wasnt able to feel comfortable and well taken care of there. The hygienist that did my x rays and initial check in was really friendly and Id probably give a go at getting my teeth cleaned with her... I paid almost $100 out of pocket to see him as I do not have insurance. Its not a bad deal for an emergency check up at all, but considering the level of service I got, Ill probably go somewhere else next time. Still not really sure whats going on as he rushed me out. But at least Ive gotten a referral to see an endodontist... Giving two stars because 1) his staff was able to get me in quickly for an emergency appointment and 2) his staff was so super friendly

THE SINGLE BEST DENTIST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. TWICE. Ive had considerable work done here on two occasions and have already told several people about my experience before writing this review and after only my first visit. Im already planning visits three and four in order to get my teeth taken care of once and for all... Which is and should be the point when going to a dentist!! Finally a Doc who gets it, dentistry work sucks when youre the patient. I told the Doc briefly before the anesthetic that I usually have a hard time with needles. He went right into talking with me while performing the actual aesthetic procedure that he has received extra training just for this critical part which really helped put me at ease. On my dogs lives I felt the tiniest pinch ever and before I know it he was in there getting things done. Seriously no pain!! He checked in with me several times and we even stopped twice when I signaled that I could feel what he was doing so he could use more anesthetic. These people really are concerned with your comfort! Toot sweet and Im getting up out of the chair to go home. The Doc is seriously that amazing!! Dont hesitate! Stop putting it off! Get your teeth worked on asap and get into Bridge Town Dental!

Dr. Kaady was much more concerned with milking the insurance machine than he was in taking care of my teeth. Over the course of three visits within 6 months, he took dozens of redundant X-rays, recommended all sorts of unnecessary procedures, and he or his assistants did very substandard preventive work. The cleanings consisted of a quick polish with paste. I woke up, switched dentists and have a much healthier mouth. On my first visit to my new dentist, who I had my record forwarded too, the comment was made with a shake of the head "you certainly dont need any more X rays" and my teeth were subjected to a deep, through, meticulous cleaning at the end of which I was read the riot act on my own habits and told my teeth looked like they had not been cleaned in 5 years. I believe Dr. Kaady is a nice man who is capable of good work, but he is leveraged to the hilt and is working the system at his patients expense to keep it all afloat. Go elsewhere, and If Dr Kaady reads this, he knows he needs to straiten out his act. There is more to dentistry than charm.

Setting up my appointments was very easy and the staff was super friendly. The cleaning was thorough, and the staff had excellent bedside manner which is extremely important to me since I have had a long time fear of the dentist. I made them well aware of my anxiety and I felt extra cared for because of it. The filling also went very well and they were again careful to explain everything and use extra care with me, we even had a few laughs which put me at ease. Though I had some pain after the procedure, I did call them to see if there was any cause for concern. They called to check in thereafter, which I thought was very nice! The office was very clean and well staffed and it seemed like they used top of the line technology in their process which helped make me feel like I was getting the best available service. When I usually walk out of the dentist, I dread my next visit, but not this time. I almost look forward to coming back.

I won trivia night by naming the best dental office in Portland, it’s Bridgetown Dental. I’ve been a patient for about three years, and go regularly every 6-7 months. My first visit required some deep cleaning as I hadn’t been to the dentist in several years. After that appointment, I’ve just gone for checkups, no fillings or cavities whatsoever. I have parts of my teeth that are sensitive; Dr Kaady is gentle and always checks on me to make sure I’m comfortable. On top of getting great treatment, I’ve never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes for my appointment, I love that. Nothing is worse than waiting a half hour or more to see a doctor or a dentist. The staff is great too, especially Oksana. She’s always smiling, and has a great upbeat attitude that’s contagious to everyone around her, she’s the best! Overall, it’s the best treatment you’ll get both personally and professionally, Bridgetown Dental Rocks!

The part I loved the most about Bridgetown Dental besides the excellent job done by Dr. Kaady, was that not single person there judged me by the condition of my teeth. Im a recovering addict and never had great oral hygiene. Half my teeth were either rotten or broken and not a single negative remark was made (like my previous dentist, who always made me feel inferior). ONLY suggestions on how to prevent any future similar problems. After many appointments Dr. Kaady has completely remodeled my whole mouth. I can now smile and breath with out being self conscious about my breath or my teeth being broken. The kindness throughout the whole office was mazing and professional which is why I dont mind driving 30 minutes to get there. I recommend this office to anyone who enjoys professionalism and a positive atmosphere
