I wish I could give this place negative stars!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! Receptionist was BEYOND rude, watched me struggle with the door, crutches and my purse with absolutely no assistance. After a 15 minute wait doctor saw me for less than 10 minutes, Said there was nothing he could do for my swollen knee (I had taken a fall, dislocated my knee and had put it back in place myself before going to urgent care) until I had an x-ray. He outsourced the x-ray saying there wasnt a tech on duty that day to do it. He sent me away with a knee immobilizer and $85 poorer (which was required *in cash* before I filled out any paperwork) On my way out, the receptionist caught me and removed the immobilizer right there in the waiting room, saying it was not included in the $85 and I couldnt have it without paying for it first. The rude Asian receptionist then got on her knees and began ripping at the velcro straps of the brace. The pain was excruciating and she offered no apology. This is THE WORST place I have ever been to. I was given the exact same advice (for FREE) by an RN at my job. Total waste of money and time. AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL

They just take your co-pay or full pay if you dont have insurance and prescribe "treatment plans" that you can easily Google to find over the counter remedies when you are in going through legitimate sickness and or pain. Upon returning to ask for help through the legal means these "primary care physicians" hold the keys to they told me to come pay them more money and see another doctor. They are a business not care givers in my experience with them. Very frustrating for them to more or less turn me to the street to find aid that will actually help. Im a corporate professional who has had to take additional sick time due to the negligence and uncaring money grubbers at this facility. Take your time, money, insurance and most importantly health somewhere far from here if at all possible. $20 May not be a lot to some people but asking for it repeatedly and telling me to buy over the counter medicine...? Youre better off using Web MD

Experience was pretty average. The part i am having a hard time with is that i was in a car accident with my girlfriend in the vehicle. Myself and my girlfriend had to call in excess of 20 times a piece just to get ahold of reception about where the hell our non narcotic prescriptions were. After talking with reception now three times It has been three and a half hours sitting at a pharmacy waiting for our scripts to come through! I finally got one of my two and none of hers have come through yet. We are without transportation due to the accident and it is 23 degrees out side and ice on the ground everywhere and relying on public transportation. Looks like we get to fair the extreme inclamate weather and go home only to have to come back when ever they decide to do their jobs! This clinic is a grade A FAIL!

Like most other people have said, this Urgent care center is very fast and clean. The location is very close to my work which made it easy for me to get to. I went for a sore throat and at the time my symptoms were ambiguous, but a few days later they got worse. Instead of having to go back in they called in a perscription for antibiotics. The doctor seemed very understanding of people who are cash patients, which is awesome since I just started a new job and currently dont have insurance. I have been to ZoomCare which is good but not great, in the future I will be going to MLC for minor issues like this.

Just went there as I thought I needed a chest X-Ray as I have severe congestion in my lungs. They would not take my insurance so had to pay $85. I had to wait over an hour but there was only 2 people in the waiting room. They take the standard nurse stuff. Doctor comes in checks a couple of things then says you need a chest X-Ray but our technician moved to Kentucky & we have not replaced her yet. Then says a place about 1/2 mile away that could do it. I am sure more forms to fill out & more money. I was just in the hospital in October for lung problems. What a joke!

If I could give 10 stars I would. I literally LOVE this place. I use Dr. Shook as a primary care provider and am so thankful for everyone in the office. Dr. Shook found out in the 1st visit, what many doctors in 13 years hadnt figured out. They work with me and my 3 kids and our hectic schedule. The assistants are so sweet and get everything together so quickly when it comes to prescriptions and appointments to the specialist.

Good thing I am only temporarily sick because this location seems to be "temporarily closed". Not to mention I have found at least two (more like three) hours of operations between Google, Yelp and their answering machine which doesnt mention this location being closed. Looks like I will never get to rate this facility for the medical proficiency of the staff due to the business incompetency of the management.

The clinic was very clean, staff was professional and Provider listened and was very compassionate. I also got in to be seen very quickly which was a definite must when I am sick. I would definitely recommend this clinic! Came to this Urgent Care a few days ago for my illness, was referred by a friend who had great experience because I dont have a primary care. Wow, I was impressed.

MLC does an exceptional job. I am visiting from out of state and I was worried about finding quick service. MLC had me in and out in a half hour. Everybody was professional,friendly and courteous from the office assistant to the medical assistant to Dr. Hoang. I hope I do not need their services anytime soon but they will be my medical provider whenever I am in Portland.

This review is long overdue. But I still think about how grateful I am that there was a respectful and caring staff at this place when I badly needed both those things. What could have been a very awkward and embarrassing experience went as best as it possibly could considering the circumstances of why I visited. Thank you to the dr and staff from the bottom of my heart!

I went to MLC because of the other good ratings and the fact they said they could do ear problems. I was not disappointed by the service. It also turns out that my self diagnosis was wrong and I did not have a rupture of the ear drum. Being from out-of-town, it is a concern to get the right competent people to help me. I feel like I made a good choice.

Never in my life have I felt the need to write an online review. The staff here were some of the most compassionate people I have ever met, and I was in and out in under an hour! This place is a hidden GEM among medical establishments. It tickles my heart to know that there are still folks out there who like their jobs and really care about people.
