I took my son in for his eye exam today and ended up getting my eyes checked too. Dr. Nguyen is an amazing doctor! I can tell she is doing what she loves. She is a natural and I can tell she truly cares. I have a condition that while not necessarily correctable with lenses, is important I wear them to strengthen my weak eye so I do not completely lose vision eventually in that eye. Other Drs. have given me prescriptions but never told me the why or gave me details like Dr. Nguyen did on the importance of using my glasses. And with Thao, her vision for the front end of the practice is amazing. Every thought and detail was meticulous. The practice is clean, classy, and beautiful. She helped my son choose frames and went over many options including frames not in the store. At one point, I overheard another customer tell her how great he thought she was doing and how happy he was with the service there.

Dropped by EyeQ since its been a little over 3 years since my last check up. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I got my eyes checked by Dr. Thuy and she was very patient and informative. She took her times examining my eyes and my prescription. I could tell she really cared and didnt want to just give me a much higher prescription if I didnt need it. I also ended up purchasing some new frames and they were very helpful in explaining the different type of lenses that I could get. I used to go to Lenscrafter in the mall but I thought I would try this shop out since I eat next door at Ate oh Ate all the time. This was by far a much different experience and I really enjoyed the service they provided. They also had a better selection of frames. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

I came in about a week ago to get my eyes checked and get new eyeglasses. The optometrist, Dr. Thuy Nguyen did my exam. I enjoyed seeing her because she is very friendly, yet professional. The staff overall met my high expectations. The only trouble I had was finding just one eyeglass frame! There was so many to choose from. I appreciate that eyeQ provides a variety of price ranges on both sunglasses and eyeglasses. Not to mention the atmosphere of the office. It really has a Portland vibe to it, yet modern. I also liked that they offer both coffee and tea throughout the entire day. They are not pushy about purchasing anything either. Additionally, they have eyewear for babies/kids. I will definitely come back for the impeccable services!

This place is so cute! The set up is more like a trendy boutique- very Portland. I came here when they had their grand opening last year, but I had just got my eye exam at Costco. I went back last week and had my eyes checked by Dr. Thuy. She was awesome! She checked my eyes and had me try on the lens so that I can actually see with my new prescription. I thought that was cool as the other optometrist didnt do that over at Costco. They also have a good selection of frames. They have the high end brands as well as local brands. Prices are reasonable. I found a pair that was less than $100! I definitely recommend this place!
