Dr.Loveland practice is a violation of CIVIL LIBERTIES on naive Americans!!! He convinced some unaware parents like me to go to him for custody evaluation during the child custody dispute. There are some interested lawyers who told me that it may be cheaper then go to court. To get my trust Dr.Loveland pretended to be fair and just in beginner, but one parties fall into his trap, he sucked thousands of dollars from both parties involved. At the end of custody evaluation he recommended himself as Parental Coordinator (which is violation of AFCC Guidelines and abuse of his fiduciary duty, since fiduciary should not have financial self-interests of the Evaluation). Then Dr.Loveland coerced me to sign a contract that made him both judicial, executive, legislative and financially motivated power. My Parenting Plan did not have the minimum amount and access (supervised/unsupervised) defined in violation of ORS.102. So under a color of law Dr.Loveland deprived me of my parenting time and dictate supervised visits to me, exceeding his authority and stepping into judicial power despite Federal and State laws. He was extremely discriminative to me as a foreign-born immigrant. Common civil liberties include the rights of people, freedom of religion, and freedom of speech, and additionally, the right to due process, to a trial, to own property, and to privacy. But he has no respect to US Constitution - he checked my house, tell you where and how I can live, what friends I can have, he controlled every word I can say, what candy my kids can eat, and many more – sky is the limit, - whatever he think in “child best interest” you should do. At same time, PC charged both parties for every word of this precious "recommendations". Eventually he cost us thousands more then just go to court. DO NOT FALL INTO HIS SCHEMA! If you did already, appeal the court order and have a judge to remove PC from your case or at least follow ORS 107.102 and define your minimum parenting time and supervised/unsupervised access (google for similar case: "IN THE MATTER OF MARRIAGE OF HICKAM, Oregon: Court of Appeals 2008"). I have complained to psychologist board, but these are the same people who involved in parenting time supervision themself, so do not expect much from their review. Now I have filed complaint with Federal Court Case# 6:2010cv01041 because Title 42 United States Code Section 1983 states that citizens can sue in federal courts any person that acting under a color of law to deprive the citizens of their civil rights under the pretext of a regulation of a state. He tried to dismiss my complaint, but was unsuccessful, so it is moving to trial now.

Dr Loveland is biased and wrong. He recommends me for two years of outpatient drug treatment but my psychologist and two outpatient drug treatment centers said thats extream. I didnt even qualify for the lowest level of outpatient drug programs. My ex basically lied like he always does and Dr. Loveland believed him. He disregarded the fact that I had a restraining order against my ex who was abusive and said the timing was convenient and report was falsified. I filed for the restraining order a few days after having my ex arrested for asuslt and i was placed in a domestic violence program. Plus Dr Loveland didnt believe that I was sexually assaulted by my ex. You cant spend 6 hours with someone and then make a huge custody dicision. His report was full of mistakes and misinformation and he tried to diagnose me with ptsd. Dr Loveland has no bases for this diagnosis nor did he do any tests or have the qualifications to make such a claim. Avoid him at all costs and dont listen to your lawyer like I did. Listen to all the bad reviews about him, they are most accurate! Best of luck to you all.

I hired DR Loveland to help with a custody evaluation. He charged an huge amount of money, did very little work and investigation. He created one of the stupidest, complex and confusing parenting plans ever drafted. We have been back to court numerous times to correct issues that were put into the parenting plan without any thought. I would never use this person for any serious parenting issue. Beware he is notorious for loving the pretty ladies unconditionally.

Dr Loveland was the Parential Coordinator assigned by the court in my divorce. He was attentive and thoughtful, the divorce and custody issues were contentious and he brought some sanity into my childs life. I give him a lot of credit for looking at both sides of the issues and keeping the childs best interest at heart. I would highly recommend him.

WOMEN BEWARE! Favors dads. Gave custody of my 4 year old daughter to my alcoholic ex( who just got out of rehab) despite all of his issues. He separated my daughter from previous marriage from my youngest one. Both girls always lived with me. Horrible!
