I read the reviews of Dr. Koch before deciding to make the transfer to being one of her patients. Reviews were generally positive, with the exception of wait time. I did wait for two hours in the waiting room, and then another hour after they put me in an exam room. I also listened for 20 minutes while she had conversations about baseball and resumes while standing right outside my exam room door before entering. Her bedside manner is a bit abrupt, but there is something to be said for someone who is to-the-point. Initially, I thought I would appreciate this. Instead, she insulted the decisions of my past OB/GYN, saying he was "clearly not a Philadelphia doctor" and told me that while they do not usually ask for past records, she wanted to see me in 6 months instead of 12 and that I was supposed to bring my records with me. She also argued with me over my preferred method of birth control. I reluctantly switched to the brand she advocated. Within just a few months I was having issues with the new bc, and wanted to switch back. I attempted to call her office multiple times with no response and no call back. The one time I did speak to someone on the phone she was both rude and unknowledgable. I never did hear from her, even after multiple (increasingly frustrated) phone calls. I have been trying to contact her again recently regarding my prescription and 6 month follow up, but the office has not communicated with me OR the pharmacy despite multiple requests. This office is NOT worth this kind of trouble, and I am promptly looking for a new OB/GYN. I have no birth control, and no recourse. It is deplorable.

if you go in for a regular exam with no issues - youll leave with 18 different prescriptions that you dont even know what they are. This doctor is also BRAND NAME only and shames you if you want to go generic for costs. Oh and cant afford her $80/month weight loss medication? Well be ready to be lectured on it EVERY time you go there. Shell push it on you each and every time. One time they even signed me up and I had to cancel before I got the pills/bills. This office is never on time. You CANNOT get through to them on the phone. Ive told them Im no longer their patient and still get automated calls. a nightmare.

Who takes a pap smear during day three of a menstrual cycle and then orders a retest due to "blood being in the sample"?? Dont appreciate the double dipping on my insurance after waiting 2+ hours, it looks like patient flow is a problem this office has had for a while with no intention of fixing. Even first year gynecology textbooks advise against taking a pap during a period. Baffled why this profit-driven practice garners such good reviews, I wouldnt trust her to change the oil on my car.

I have been going to this doctor for many years now. Even though the location is not close to my new job anymore I still go to her. The office hours are great. The wait time has significantly improved and the staff truly cares about your overall health. They do have a slight lengthy process when you see her for the first time but its all for the patients benefit. Dr. Koch has a great personality and I love going to see her. Thank you for great care!

Waited over an hour to be seen by the doctor. The doctor and staff were very friendly and helpful. They told me things and explained things that no previous doctor had shared with me, and they also gave me lots of great samples. There was some confusion with performing a test since I didnt have insurance - they performed it even though they said they could wait until my coverage was active and then I received a large bill.

Have been waiting months for lab results and no phone calls are returned. Switched my birth control I had been on for years stating w.e. doctor prescribed it was terrible, even though I wanted to keep it. Prescribed name brand medication which I cant afford. Told me I had abnormal results and requested I come back to have them retake still havent heard back about them 3 months later! Very unhappy with my experiance.

She is one of the best ,caring loving and just all around great person .She is one of the most educated in all areas she does a work up on your entire body to fined out your problem i have never seen nothing like it .the best And if you have a bacteria which is common for women .please try her out the best in the city . Mine was do to the lack of vitamins you believe that . and no on else detected that

Dr. Koch waiting time is worth it as she shows each of her patients the same courtesy, Dr. Koch and her staff takes their time with you and will answer any questions. I will rather adjust to the wait time than adjust to quick service and half the care. The staff has always been pleasant since I have been coming there for about three years now. I am very much satisfied with Dr. Kochs service and care.

I was incorrectly billed, causing a very large bill. The office refuses to change it and will not return my calls. My visit was for an annual exam visit and was billed for each individual service instead. I also never spoke with or saw the doctor during my visit. This is a money hungry, med pushing office. I will never return nor suggest to other women.

I had a recurring yeast problem for 12 years that various doctors had basically said I had to put up with and treat with OTC medicine. Not Dr. Koch! She did a few tests, found that I was prone to them because of another underlying issue. She cleared that up, and Ive been doing great ever since -- that was three years ago!

Dr. Koch takes the time to listen to her patients. She doesnt make you feel rushed and offers good advice. Sometimes there are long wait times but it is because she cares about her patients and takes time to listen to their concerns. I cant imagine using another gynecologist.
