My mom was recently admitted to the hospital on a Thursday and I came up to visit Saturday. First they didnt even provide the anti slip socks for her, and her feet looked like she was outside in flip flops all day, they were black! The nurses asked her is she wanted a shower, however the floor in the shower looked as if it hadnt been cleaned in years. The sheets in her room were never changed once in three days, I had to change the dirty pad under her. The waste baskets were full of trash. Then to top it off when my mom thought she was outta paper towels in the room she told her rn(which was great the only good thing I saw all day there) the rn called house keeping and two women came up to change a roll of paper towels. With me sitting 2 feet away from them, the one actually changing the paper towels looks at the other and say" there are paper towels in here, maybe someone outta learn how to use it" I confronted her about how rude she was and without thought turns and says" I thought the nurse said they were out" I dont care who said they were out, ignorant comments are not needed about fellow co-workers or patients, and not even a Im sorry came out of her mouth. As I was in and outta of the room for the next 2 hours the same two that were to be cleaning rooms stood around talking. I grew up in Clarion county and had both my children in Clarion Hospital, the hospital used to be clean, and have nice people working there and I wouldnt go anywhere else. From what I saw this weekend, I fear for anyones safety with infections that visit there due to the facility being so dirty.

Weve lived here for over 25 years and raised four children in this area, so weve had the opportunity to interact with this medical system numerous times as weve needed adult and pediatric tests, procedures, and other surgeries, both in scheduled and emergency situations. Nursing and technical staff are caring, kind, and friendly. The doctors are also compassionate, professional and knowledgeable. It was this hospital and staff which saved a close family members life from a ruptured appendix. In addition, the surgeon quickly discovered an underlying aggressive cancer, and then provided help by getting her admitted to a different facility for specialized treatment immediately. Through it all, every staff member went above and beyond to care for her needs. I must respectfully disagree with negative reviews here, especially those that indicate a larger system might provide better care, because Ive also had the opportunity to observe medical treatment in big-city hospitals a number of times. (While the available medical technology may be at a higher level, hence referrals to a larger facility with different equipment, the same level of interpersonal interaction and small-town care is often not present, IMHO.) I am in no way affiliated with the Clarion system, and I dont even personally know anyone who works there, but through the years I have seen that Clarion Hospital is an excellent facility that tries to serve our local communities, with good people in it who work hard and do their best every day. I am not even sure they deserve one star. went here a couple times for my kids when they ran high fevers and the drs office wasnt open. The normal wait for this place seems to be hours. I went in with my son today and we ended up waiting in the waiting room for 3 hours...when we first walked in there was one person ahead of us, then there was 2 people that came in after us...the person ahead of us was in and out rather quickly. we saw people walk out...but still we didnt get called back. after a 3 hour wait we decided to just leave.

Dr Kraus was very kind, smart & willing to try several different medications for my COPD with an extreme cough. Treated me fairly & showed concern for me. The nurse were very friendly & also shown concern. Its great to find a hospital as caring as Clarion hospital. My husband and I travel for a living. Its horrible to be sick while on the road but thanks to Dr Klaus & Clarion hospital I already feel better & back on the road. Kelley

Went there with a steam burn, I was right in and right out but not in a good way. They were busy, ER Dr just took a peak had someone wrap it up and pit the door i went, they forgot to write me a script for antibiotic cream and forgot my tetanus shot they were in such a hurry to get me out? The Dr even told me I was getting the shot and cream and then I was rushed out? Smh

I had to give it a star, otherwise I wouldnt have. I have sat here for three hours. I have only been seen by the male nurse, who actually is pretty awesome. Ive had other people that were brought back AFTER me getting seen before me. This place is a joke. Finally saw the doctor and he was super nice and helpful. So the people are kind but the hospital is awfully slow.

I would give negative stars if I could.. they sent me home with internal bleeding last year. I also took my son there with a stomach issue, I noticed what looked like a skin irritation on his chin and pointed it out to the doctor. The doctor said it looked like Eczema so we bought an expensive lotion he recommended...at home we found out IT WAS GUM!!!

Oh my god!!! Run! Run like your well being depends on it! Run fast & far! Misdiagnosed my broken ankle for 3 months. Which in turn, caused it to get way worse. Best I can figure they cost me an additional 8 months off work! Thanks guys!

Poor communication, dr.Rh***s is desensitized & some nurses need more heart for their patients & family members. Extremely upset with this hospital. Walk a mile in my shoes before you judge.

The staff isnt as pleasant as you would expect when dealing with children made my son wait over 3 hours to get stitches
