I recently was taken to the ER here, by ambulance, in terrible pain. Treatment was thorough, I received phsyical examination, an ultrasound and a CT scan, yet the main problems were not diagnosed, and it could have cost me my life. The doctor in residence was good, as were some of the nurses and staff. There was unnecessary coldness on the part of some of the nurses. I have tumors, as I have now found out, in my belly, one of them quite large and something else which had abscessed, and this is what could have killed me. all these were the cause of some terrible pain. When i had to move from gurney to bed and winced, one such nurse told me to "suck it up". What a ridiculous thing to say. It is bedside manner like that that gives the medical profession a bad name. So many others are compassionate, at no cost to themselves. I wish that people like this would be re-trained or phased out. They do no good for anyone. In fact her attitude seemed to rub off on the others, and at the end of my stay, still in terrible pain, i was literally thrown out of my bed and told to wait in the waiting room for my ride, with no assistance although I could barely walk.I would not go there again and would travel much further to the nearest ER.

I was recently rushed by ambulance to this hospital. I cant say enough about the compassionate care that I received there. I spent 3 and one half days there and all the nurses, doctors and staff were wonderful. I was feeling confident that they really cared about my illness the whole time that I was there. They have come so far since they had a threatened closing and even the food was good:)...if I have to be "admitted" again, this my hospital of choice.

I was seem this morning, 7.26.15, in the emergency dept. My nurses, Kathy & Kristine were amazing. Kind, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. Each took time to answer my questions and did everything possible to make my visit bearable with a smile on their faces. Thanks. Nobody likes going to a emergency room but when a patient has excellent nurses it makes the whole experience ten times better. You girls rock.

Do not come here. Worst place ever and a waste of time. Doctors and staff are useless.
