My family has been St. Francis for many years. We recently took our dog to them because he was acting depressed which then seemed to be pain. Initially they had given him dog xanax to try and treat what we thought was anxiety. After a trip to Pet Emergency over the weekend after they gave it to us, Pet emergency said to immediately stop the xanax. We did x-rays and blood work in which they said were all very inconclusive to the reason our dog was acting the way he was acting to follow up with vet on Monday. We scheduled an appointment and at that point after looking at the xrays St. Francis said it appears to some sort of cancer in his stomach or lungs. They kept for a few hours to pump him with fluids to see if he got better, which they called me and said he did not get better and recommended euthanization. We took him home over night and took him to a different vet on Tuesday evening. After the new vet reviewed the xrays and performed a few more on his throat they confirmed without uncertainty that our dog definitely did NOT have any sort of cancer in the areas St. Francis said. They said there was a lump in his throat so we started him on antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs to treat him to see if there was improvement. After 4 days our dog resumed eating and after a week he was completely back to himself. Therefore St. Francis was ready to put him down when our dog just had some sort of infection. After about 2 or 3 weeks they actually sent me a sympathy card even though we have since told them he is better and to transfer all of our history on our dog. I will never return here and will most definitely advise anyone NOT to go here. I wasted tons of money with them and the end result was just that they wanted to kill my dog. Plus, to send me a sympathy card when my dog is not dead and they knew it? I highly advise not to cut corners on your pets lives and not go here!

Honestly the kind folks at St Francis Animal Hospital are so compassionate, caring, and helpful we are lucky to have them available to us. Our first visit was very stressful with a brand new puppy and feelings of "can we do this after all these years" and the staff, including Molly and Jordan, were so understanding and helpful they made the transition possible for us. They spent so much time helping us no words can say thank you enough. Follow-up visits have been great and Dr. Joe is truly caring and wonderful and takes his time to be sure all our questions and concerns are addressed. Thank you to everyone at St. Francis for everything that you do!

Im not the type to write a review on places Ive been. But with St. Francis I felt the need to because of the experience I had with them today. Ive been worried about my dog all day. Calling different vets around the area. The only places that was trying to help me out and make me feel that my dog was important. They try to help me over the phone since they didnt have any appointments available. To calm me down a little they made space for me to take my dog. I really appreciate what they do. St. Francis cared about what they do not about the money they could get from your pocket. Thank you for your services yall are great.

An incredible group of people who are dedicated to the absolute best care for your dog. My family got their first pet - a brand new puppy, no less - at the beginning of 2017. Being fairly clueless and having a tough time adjusting to the new family member at first, several members of the staff took a significant amount of extra time at our first appointment to comfort us and make us far more confident on our journey of welcoming our pup to the family. Since then, they have been amazingly friendly and have gone above and beyond every step of the way. My family and I cannot recommend St. Francis enough.

The entire staff at St. Francis Animal Hospital is outstanding. They are compassionate, knowledgeable and supportive. Two years ago we came dangerously close to losing our fur child, Manly due to a bowel obstruction and Dr Joe took excellent care of him. I also have to add, Manly highly approves as well! I never had a dog that loved going to the vet and seeing these people like this and I learned long ago to trust a dogs instinct.

I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Joe for many, many years. They are wonderful people. I think, if you as pet owners care about your pets, you will take your pets here at St. Francis. Your crazy not too. Their staff is caring, loving, and they take care of your pets. They listen and they saved my dogs life. I have two Jack Russells, and they would go NO Where else to be treated.

The vet and staff are terrific!!! My dog has a sudden attack of gastroenteritis, and was in quite a bit of pain. They were able see him within hours of my early morning call, and fixed him up. Over the years you continue to give Max and I wonderful support and care! Thank you, thank you!!
