My Experience with Dr. Smith and her dental hygenist was absolutely horrible. I went to get my bi-annual cleaning and the hygenist obviously did not know what to do. She scratched majority of the gums in my mouth and I was swollen for 2 weeks. She attempted to take bite-wing x-rays and used a bite-wing 2x bigger than my mouth. I gagged and told her it would not fit properly. She continued to try to shove it in my mouth and left scratches all throughout my mouth. When I had complained to Dr. Smith, all she could care about was if I was referred to her by one of her previous patients. Talk about uncaring and unprofessional. I did not appreciate hearing the staff make rude comments about the fact that my mouth was too small for the only bite-wing they had available. I switched dentists, and my current one told me that they make bite-wings in a variety of sizes to fit properly. I will never go back here ever again!!!!!

If you have a good experience here you must be used to torture. I absolutely HATE this place and I went a few different times to try it since it was close to where I worked at the time. I saw Smith directly once and that was the worst mistake I ever made. I was left to sit in a chair with my mouth propped open for nearly 30 minutes while she talked about a bunch of random unrelated bull*ht with the hygenists. When I was there prior I had a bad experience with three different hygenists. I was let down and tortured and I can say 100% that based on this office I lost my faith in dentists. Sorry to you all.... but it is the truth. Sad Sad Sad and needs much kinder, more loving approach to people.

It has been several years since I had gone to the dentist, mostly out of fear....but when I had a horrible toothache I called Butler Pike Family dentistry. They could see me immediatly even though I was never a patient there. Everyone is so nice and Dr. Smith made me feel so relaxed, she is awesome.
