THE BEST VET WE HAVE EVER HAD. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We are dog people. We have had dogs for over 25 years. Gladwyne Animal Hospital has been our Vet for over 12 years, since moving to PA. We have had 4 dogs in that duration. When the prior owner retired and moved to SC a few years ago, we were devastated. We were unsure if the new owners would be as attentive, caring, or tender with our pets ( and us). We had nothing to worry about. We have had healthy dogs and sick dogs over the years and when you have dogs who are members of your household, your heart skips when they get hurt or ill. Dr Carrie Souter at GAH, not only exceeded our expectations but goes far beyond.... She is excellent. We value her expertise, care and amazing personalized care. Her attentive follow-up is authentic, consistent and appreciated. Our dogs get better care than we do at our doctors offices! We now have 2 black labs, Harry and George, One senior and one (large) puppy. Dr Souter has walked us through the many health hurdles with both dogs. She has done surgery on both and the care, treatment , follow up were amazing; better than with humans. She explains what is being done, why it is being done, your choices, and what to expect. She is extremely smart and precise. Her expertise is exceptional. She has been right every time and we trust her completely. She loves our dogs as much as we do. She cares for them as if they were a human. We have had emergency situations with our crazy puppy and both times had to go to an emergency care ER for care. Dr. Souter was not only interested in being in the loop but involved each step of the way. She even did the follow up care with tremendous support and ongoing treatment. We used to be 10 minutes away from GAH and since moved out to Devon. There are plenty of other vets between Gladwyne and Devon, but we would never imagine using anyone else. It is worth the extra time to drive to GAH. We cannot say enough about the attentive, expert, knowledgable, medical care provided by GAH. The receptionist, the attendants, and the doctors all know your name, your pets name and your history. You are not a number or a stranger. It is not like other vets, where they have no clue who you are. GAH is courteous and friendly. They are patient, kind, and helpful. We can go on and on about examples of why GAH should get BEST VET in PHILLY EVERY YEAR!!!

Dr. Carrie Sutor and the staff at Gladwyne Animal Hospital are, simply put, amazing! I am so happy that Dr. Sutor and Dr. Wellens (both graduates of U. Penn Vet. School) took over, updated and improved Gladwyne Animal Hospital, when beloved old timer, Dr. Genzer retired several years ago. My 3 dogs have been patients of Gladwyne Animal Hospital since that time and as you can imagine I am there often. The entire staff go above and beyond giving my dogs the best experience possible when they are there. Dr. Sutor is a fabulous diagnostician, with a caring bedside manner who is never too busy to listen to your concerns. Also, I believe there prices to be quite reasonable compared to some of the other veterinary practices in the area. Give Gladwyne Animal Hospital a try! You will not be disappointed.

This place is beyond wonderful. They always take top notch care of my Millie. Staff is so kind and gentle with her. They have even called to check in on Millie after a visit just to make sure she was doing well. Doctors are very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I switched Millie to this office after bad experiences with other vets in the area who use too much anesthesia, are too aggressive with treatment and over charge for nonsense. So thankful that there is none of that at Gladwyne Animal Hospital.

My experience at Gladwyne Animal Hospital has been outstanding. Dr. Sutor is absolutely terrific. She has a great rapport with my two dogs and her clinical skills are first rate. When my elderly dachshund died, her warm support made a very sad situation much more bearable. The vets at the hospital are always friendly and supportive. They communicate clearly and help us understand the cause of our dogs illness. They even stayed open past hours on a Saturday so I could get my dog to them when she wasnt feeling well.
