WOULD RATE AS A "ZERO" BUT WONT ALLOW YOU TO SO THE 1 STAR IS VERY GENEROUS!! Oh - where to begin...these comments are directed at the Urgent Care on 4200 Union Deposit Rd Hbg 17111 ONLY! 1. (9/4/16)-arrived at 11:09am-Courtney at the desk-never acknowledged my coming into the practice and left me stand there without any type of communication until I filled out the "check-in" portion on the sign-in sheet of 11:14am. Truly an unfriendly gem she is. 2. (9/4/16)-taken for blood pressure and weight screening and put in an exam room +/- 11:40am (I might add the girl who took by pressure, weight, and asked why I stopped in (think her name was Dash (??), anyway - very nice professional young woman!!!) 3. (9/4/16)-12:52pm - still waiting in the exam room for someone, ANYONE to come and check on me. (Little background when I arrived at the facility there were only 2 cars in the parking lot and 1 of the people using one of the 2 cars-left BEFORE I was taken for screening and exam. I stopped at this Urgent care due to excruciating pain in my left buttocks progressing down my left leg to my toes with an mass of pain on the side of my left calf-my self-diagnosis was sciatica) Anyway, the Dr FINALLY came into the exam room about 1:00pm (there was no movement in the hallway from roughly Noon till about 12:45pm-was everyone at lunch?? While the rest of us waited to see the Dr-including a poor little baby that was shrieking the entire time she entered into her exam room until the time I left the facility). Anyway - Dr Hunt is totally unprofessional and I dont think she know her butt from a hole in the ground) 4. 9/4/16-Through my 2 minute exam with Dr Hunt I had told her that I had excruciating, unbearable pain for about 2 days and that I was taking (5) 200 mg ibuprofen tables every 3-3.25 hours and that I hadnt slept in 2 days either. So she checks my chest and lungs (??) has me lie down on exam table and pull my legs up and she twists them (I guess to verify that I was actually having pain even though I could barely straighten up or walk). Anyway after the 2 minute exam she said she was going to Rx 2 meds and that I could go back to lobby and wait. 5. (9/4/16)-Im told that my Rx has been called in to the Rite-Aid across the street from the facility and that I can exit and go retrieve - I left Urgent Care after checking in to a virtually empty facility at 11:14am and leaving at 1:15pm. 6. (9/4/16)-1:17pm I arrive at Rite-aid-Rite-aid tells me that they have not recd anything for me from Urgent Care and ask me to give them a call to verify they sent the request to that particular Rite-Aid. 7. (9/4/16)-I exit Rite-Aid to call Urgent Care the lovely and oh so friendly (I say that in a very facetious way) Courtney answers the phone and tells me that yes they called it to the Rite-Aid I was at and that it takes approx. 15-45 mins for it to show up on Rite-Aids system. (Im thinking Urgent Care needs to upgrade to HI Speed Internet rather than a modem, because I never heard of an email taking that long!!) 8. (9/4/16)-I wait and wait and wait at Rite-Aid-the Rite-Aid personnel call over to Urgent care on my behalf twice checking for my Rx and they also called over for 2 other people that were to pick-up Rxs from Urgent Care at Rite-aid and they ARRIVED at Rite-aid after me. FINALLY-AFTER ARRIVING AT RITE-AID AT 1:17PM, MY RX MAKES IT ACROSS THE STREET TO RITE-AID AT 2:27PM - THAT IS SOME RECORD TIME, DONT YOU THINK. (The girls at Rite-Aid were extremely friendly and helpful) Well this review is maxed out and Im unable to finish my review-!!! WTH??

Check in woman Lauren Cross was very rude this morning checking me in. She was unprofessional and treated me like I was less than a human let alone a patient in need of care. I have been here before and was treated very well. Today was another story. I have rather good insurance that Ive had for 6 years that just require a co-pay for this time of "urgent care" without entering my information right on my insurance card she told me, "we dont take your insurance, we cant help you here." After she took my social Security number by tge way. I said "excuse me? Ive been here before this is where my job asked me to go." She then entered the correct number then said you have a co pay of $30 how will you be paying that today? Really short and rude. No sorry, no I made a mistake. I asked her does that mean Im ok? Should I continue to fill this out? She said yes I gave her my method of payment. She rushed me to fill out my paperwork at the counter while people were behind me, asking me to sign the last line about making me aware of the privacy policy but she never said anything or gave me a pamphlet so I asked her was she going to make me aware of it? Or give me a pamphlet she said no. It wont go any further than here. After I had to persist for her to do her job. I am in school to be a dental assistant and that isnt why Im going to school to do it! Thats not how you treat people who come to you in a time of need. One the other hand Jennifer who ran my vitals and entered my information was a delight and I feel embarrassed that I was so upset I typed this while she was helping me. I wish just on her behalf I could muster more than "2 stars!" But Lauren Crosss behavior is the first impression and first impressions are everything! Im not one to let one sour apple ruin the day so I treated everyone with respect despite my horrible introduction to the whole concentra exprience. The wait in the waiting room was quite brief, the wait for the physician was brief as well. Megan seen me she was very polite and thorough have good instructions and details on what would happen and details on any follow up care that may be needed. I conclude this with, Patients are people in their most fragile state, please treat them with respect and if you dont genuinely have a passion for a job like this DO NOT TAKE IT FOR THE MONEY ONLY! You will make people feel worst! And get reviews ...Like This.

Im actually currently at Concentra waiting for my doctor; had an appointment at 2:45 PM which I was a few minutes early for. Took about 20 minutes to be called back, after which I was switched twice to different rooms (once because of a faulty blood pressure cuff, once because they needed the room for someone else) It is now 25-30 minutes after I was called back, and all they have done is blood pressure and a pulse. They are commenting out in the office amongst themselves about how long my appointment is taking, but still I have yet to see a doctor. So now it is an hour after I arrived, with a prior appointment, and I have yet to receive any medical care. Imagine if I didnt have an appointment. If I didnt have to have documentation that I am following up for a work injury, I would have left by now. I guess Ill go back to staring at the walls and trying to decipher the little picture on the glass.
