I was looking for a local dentist for myself and my family when I found American dental online. Was close by and took our insurance so i made appointments for myself and my finance. I went and found the employees to be less than helpful and unfriendly. I felt as if i were impsoing upon them getting my teeth cleaned. I have not gone back. My finance had an appointment later the same day and wanted his teeth cleaned. Instead they made 2 appointments to scale his teeth. Next he went in to have a 2 teeth pulled and the dentist cut off his implant to replace it without permission. It took 8 weeks for the hardware to come in and during that time my fiance was unable to wear his machine for severe apnia etc. He also ended up with 2 severe infections in his jaw and tooth shards coming out through his gums still. During the 3 hours proceedure to remove the teeth the doctor jumped from patient to patinet and we never once saw him wash hands or change gloves. Dentist also dropped a mini screw driver my finances throat, had one of the stitches wrapped arouind his finger and when pulled his hand back the stitches came along. The office staff could not keep us updated on the progress of implant we were waiting for, even though we called weekly and stressed that this needed to be completed before sleeping without the sleep apnia machine caused death. After all of these issues and more, proceddures done without permission we ended up with a bill for over $1000 and not so much as an apology for the pain, suffering and inconveniece. The implant finally came in, was installed Thurdsday morning at 8AM and fell out Thursday evening about 4PM, causing more issues. I had to call the office and emergency line 3 times before receiving a call back. Do not use this detist.

We did not have dental insurance for almost four years and I was very nervous about going to a dentist again, not only because of that but also because I have lots of anxiety about dentists in general. I was also nervous about trying American Dental Care because of the negative reviews online, but I have to say that I could not be more pleased with the whole staff. My son, who is six years old, had never been to the dentist before and was a little nervous about his first cleaning, but afterwards he wanted to come back the next day because he enjoyed it so much and had such a good time with his hygienist, Wanda. My hygienist, Beth, was great as well and when I met Dr. Mo for the first time I liked him immediately, he is very nice and did not make me feel bad for not going to the dentist in so long. I told him about my anxieties and he was very understanding; he is very patient, takes his time explaining everything to me and frequently checks to make sure that I am comfortable. Ive been back twice more since my cleaning to complete my treatment plan and truthfully my anxiety is almost gone. I also appreciate how they let me know before my appointments what my co-pays will be so there are no surprises. I am so happy that I decided to try them out and I highly recommend American Dental Care, especially if you have feel like I did. If you are open and honest about how you feel they will do everything they can to alleviate your anxiety.

I have asked numerous times for a final bill showing how much was charged and paid by our insurance and how much our total amount owed is. Our estimated portion was prepaid based on a preliminary estimate and I just want to ensure that what was paid does not exceed the actual total owed. I am certain if we owed them money we would have had a bill 5 weeks ago. Each week for 3 weeks have we asked and continue to be ignored. Each week we get "Oh, we thought we sent that, well send it right out." Last time was a week and a half ago. It makes it appear they are hiding something. By this review, I am making one last request for a detailed itemized statement, then my next stop is the BBB and the American Dental Association. I just want an itemized invoice of the treatment, how much was charged and paid by insurance and how much is our responsibility--should be a simple matter of printing a statement.

This dentist should not be allowed to practice in our town or any other. Please do not take your self or your children to this horrible man "Dr. Mo the dentist." a.k.a. the guy who lies to patients about what dental work, they didnt need in the first place. He also has rewritten his "reviews" to sound increasingly faked and fabricated. I went there once and wont be back. Shame on Dr. Mo for hurting people like this. He did a work on my tooth that i didnt need, never filled the tooth back in then billed me and my insurance for both treatments now i need to have the extra work to replace my original perfect tooth that will eventually have issues because of the mediocre work, and primitive style of dentistry. Please, dont even try "American Dental in Hershey" or it could cost you more than your money.

AVOID THIS DENTAL PRACTICE !!!!!!! I went to American Dental Care, It was nightmare ...front desk staff is so rude. I had to wait 45 minutes .Finally, Hygienist WANDA started cleaning my teeth, She is vey unprofessional, she drop one instruments on floor. Instead of replacing with new one, She keep using same in my mouth. When ,I object that she got upset and call dentist on duty. He introduce him self as Dr.Amish ..He did not even apologies. Instead of asking about my complaints. He started bluffing that he is doing dentistry since ,He was 3 years old. My eye balls pop !!! I did not know that state Board of Dentistry ,gives license that early !!! I never saw a dentist doing dentistry in diaper !! Long story short ..I would advice People of central PA to avoid American Dental care..

I too have never written a review... but my experience with these people will not be forgotten. Their office staff is rude and refuses to help. I have 2 insurances (im military) and they keep "forgetting" to run the 2nd insurance meanwhile being rude about the bill I owe. They claimed my teeth were so "bad" that I needed cleanings every 3 months (my insurance only pays for 2 a year), I had a second opinion done and the other dentist said it was unnecessary. I had my 5 year daughter in for a crown and the crown fell out 4 hours later (she didnt eat or drink anything). They will not let the parents to go with the child when the child is being seen, but yet they discuss treatment out inn the open of the waiting room (HIPPA VIOLATION). I wouldnt recommend this dentist to anyone!!!

Avoid this place. I have just received the worst dental treatment ever in my entire life. I went in to fix a couple of cavaties, the dentist was very rough when handling the teeth, I felt I was a machine being banged on by a factory machenic. Now this is middle of the night a couple of days after the dental works, all the teeth they "fixed" are hurting terribly; I could not fall asleep with all the pain. I do not even want to call them to complain, especially after seeing other peoples bad review. What is the use, the place will go out of business. Nobody would become a long term patient if this is the type of service they provide. I am looking for another dentist first thing tomorrow morning. Dont go there!!!
