Whomever was handling the answering service today at 12:15 this afternoon is the absolute RUDEST person I have ever had to deal with in regards to my daughters doctors. Not only did she hang up on me the first time before I could even say a word the 2nd time around, when I called right back, she answered the phone with an annoyed and rude tone. All she said was, "McManaway answering service" in a way that came off to me like I was a HUGE inconvenience to her. I told her that I needed to make an appointment for my daughter to which her response was after smacking her lips in annoyance, "Not gonna happen today, they closed at 12." Even before I could respond she hung up on me AGAIN! Not sure what the purpose of your answering service is but if its to give a sympathy job to someone with terrible grammar and an attitude problem and to steer potential new and/or existing patients away from your practice then job well done, because that is exactly what you have accomplished today.

Dr. McManaway is a delight. I am so happy I was referred to him by our pediatrician. We have been going to Dr. McManaway for about a year now. We live in Scranton, PA and travel 2 hours each way to see Dr. McManaway, but it is well worth the trip for the care that our daughter receives from Dr. McManaway and his staff. The office is spotless and geared toward his specialty of Pediatrics. My daughter feels at ease there. I would highly recommend Dr. McManaway to anyone with a child who requires specialized eye care.

Dr. McManaway is the best. He makes my son feel very relaxed. He has on the cartoon channel in the room to allow kids to watch it while he does the exams. He is very thorough and lets me know every detail. I never feel rushed. Sometimes we have to wait a little longer, but in return he gives me the same time and treatments. I would deff recommend him to anyone.

Terrible, terrible, terrible bed side manner. Does not know how to treat patients with respect once told my daughter she would never get a boyfriend. I even took him aside to ask him to maybe consider working on it but nope was terrible the whole time I went to him. Basically harassed my daughter and made her start having panick attacks.
