Emmert Dental is the most unethical business I have ever had to deal with in my life. They will bill outside of the amount set by the agreements that they have in place with insurance companies, they will charge you deductibles when your insurance does not require deductibles and they will charge you for unnecessary services. One dentist told me a my daughters appointment that she had six cavities. When I returned for her follow up appointment to fill the cavities, the dentist for this appointment informed me that she did not have any cavities that he could see and that the other dentist made no file notes nor took x-rays. Despite clearly stating in writing to myself, my insurance company and the Better Business Bureau that my account is cleared, they continue to harass me for money. When I call to press them, they say my account is clear and they dont know why I am still receiving letters from their office. I implore anyone who is considering going to Emmert to do further research as this office has a history of of bad billing and unethical practices.

I received a statement in the mail today. It says I owe 208.00...for What? I didnt understand so I called my insurance company. I was told by my insurance company after they spoke with this dentist that I owed for x rays they done on me on 2-20-16. On that date I was a new patient then. This dentist insisted on taking x rays of my teeth knowing it wouldnt be covered by my insurance and told me that they would just write the cost off so I wont have this to owe. I wouldnt of had them do the x rays bc I could of gotten them from my previous dentist without any cost. This dentist also charged me 46.00 for a white filling of which I found out today it was covered 100 percent. They attempted to collect on a white filling when my son had work done, but at that time I told them to bill me because I didnt have the money. I WONT BE BACK! Even if they take care this statement. I dont want ppl like this doing work in my mouth or my childrens. Wonder how much money they have stole from other patients?

Avoid this dental office if you can. The office typically books more than one patient at one time so be ready to have the dentist run out of the office to treat a patient in the next room while youre in the middle of a filling. This causes the dentist to be flustered, lack attention to detail, and rush through what hes doing. Dr. Carnavalli does not communicate well with the patients and respond to their concerns or questions adequately. I regret ever visiting this office and have been dealing with painful and extensive consequences from his lack of care.

Told them not to take full mouth X-rays as Id had them done at another practice. Get to learn from my insurance that they charged for them even after transferring my medical records to Emmert. This all after saying the dentist will waive them and wont be charged. Two weeks later I approve one filling and get charged for two. Avoid this place!

Absolutely awful! This dentist office is a con-artist! I had to have inexpedected dental work performed, even with insurance, I paid an insane amount of money!!! The worst part, the work failed within 2 months! The dentist is extremely heavy handed and has a horrible "bedside manner"! I would not recommend even in an emergency!
