We have boarded our older dog here twice this summer, and twice he has come home with an upper respiratory infection. This last time, our younger dog was boarded as well....comes home with an upper respiratory infection. Both had all their shots up to date before boarding, as required. Both are in good health. We thought after the first boarding, our older dog had just injured his throat by pulling (he was hacking when we got him home, but was not diagnosed at Hamilton Animal Care.) We had him checked and treated at our Vet, and we bought a harness to replace his collar since he is a puller when walked. That didnt help this past stay. They are both on meds per Hamilton Animal Care, and I expect another visit to our vet will be in order pretty soon as a follow up. We liked the care they got there (personnel wise) but feel we wont be back in the future since we are batting 100% for the dogs coming home SICK after staying here.

We have been clients at Hamilton Animal Care for many years now. The doctors and nurses have cared for all of our cats as well as our late dog, Cuddles as if they were their own pets. The doctors and staff have seen us through a lot over the years, always remembering they were "NOT JUST ANIMALS ", but a member of our family and loved very much. Never thinking twice about staying until 11pm to perform emergency surgery on our TAZ or saving the life of our beloved Cuddles when sustaining a GI Bleed and animal poison control told us the cause was fatal and we should euthanize him. Just 2 small examples of the wealth of knowledge this group of fine doctors bring to this practice. Finally, they understand these are our "children " and build the same bond Chris and I have with our own Primary Care Physician. They are TRULY THE BEST and I cant imagine anyone else caring for our children.

Very unhappy with the way they treat customers. Came for rabies vaccine was offered some other vaccination for my dog end up paying over $300 and told that i have to come back for buster shut for one of those vaccines. They never told me its extra $92 for that. Every other places i called after that offered same service in half of the price they have it done. Rude receptionist was laughing when i was talking to her like it funny that i dont want to pay for something they never told me about will be extra. Waiting for the owner to get in touch with me about it. Will update it after talking to her

I had an appointment with LVAH becaue my Boston was sick. I waited for an 1 1/2 hours because the doctor felt it was necessary to take his lunch break during my scheduled appointment.Long story short I called Hamilton animal care to make a new patient appointment for the following day. The hospital actually called me back 20 minutes later and said we are concerned about your dog you can bring him in now and we will fit him in our schedule. The staff is very kind and care about what they are doing. I would recommend Hamilton animal care to everyone.

The Vets are pretty good here. We have been taking my dog here for years and all the Vets are very knowledgable. I use to keep my dog in the kennel here but the cages are indoor and kindof small so I take him to Cloud Nine Kennel. Stay away from Almost Heaven Kennels and Allentown Animal Clinic! Allentown Animal Clinic trys to ripe you off. 4 years ago they told me my dog had to have immediate surgery in both his knees for $5,000! I got a second option. He never received surgery and is walking fine to this day with the help of medicine.

Two times Ive had to bring one of my pet cats here when my regular vet was closed. Both times I was treated well by staff and doctors. Most recently 12/26/16 they got me in ASAP for a minor emergency. Dr. DeVoss was very kind, thorough and helpful. The issue resolved itself while I was in the exam room, and I was charged only for the office visit. Other vets including the ERs in the area probably would have cost 3x as much plus recommended some unnecessary tests. Highly recommend.

The Vet/treatment portion of Hamilton Animal Care is good. The boarding service is not. Jackie is quite possibly the rudest person I have ever encountered in the service industry. She doesnt let you finish your sentences and is very gruff, judgmental, and demanding. She is completely unprofessional and not understanding of the fact that she/they are being paid to provide a service and should be a little more customer satisfaction oriented.

Hamilton Animal Care is a great place to take your pets, when they need medical attention or for routine exams .The staff is very friendly and prompt. The facility is very clean and modern, using the most advanced equipment to treat your pet.The Doctors and staff take care of your pet like it is one of their own, very compassionate. We have been taking our family pets to Hamilton Animal Care for the past 15 years, very satisfied.

The staff is always professional and friendly when we brought our pup for her many appointments when we first adopted her. Dr. Reimert always takes his time to answer my questions and concerns. They are the absolute best when it comes to caring for your best friends. Highly recommend!

Great place that really takes care of your pet. Ive not used the kennels but the doctors are the best. Reasonable prices and they dont do a procedure unless it really needs to be done. They also dont judge. I feed raw and most vets dislike it because its not Science Diet. The vets here understand nutrition a little better.

Dr. Lisa Scibetta and Dr. Owen DeVos are the best! Dr. Lisa is is exceptionally responsive, kind and caring and very patient with me! I know my dog is in great hands and we are so fortunate to have them as a resource! I cannot say enough great things about them! Truly the best!

No help at all for a sick cat. The hospital was listed as open but I was told it was only for emergencies. While this isnt an emergency yet, I was hoping to prevent that. But since its not yet an emergency, I was told to make an appointment for Tuesday. Oh well. Thanks for nothing.
