I have now been to three different locations in an attempt to complete the testing I need. The test is three hours long and requires a solution to be mixed the day ahead of time. Each time I have made an appointment. The first time they could not do it because although I selected which test I was coming in for online, there apparently is no communication of that to the location I make my appointment with and they didnt have enough time to do the test. The second time the medicine needed was expired. The third time I called the day before to tell the person what I was coming in for and to make sure she was ready, this was for the wyncote location. The woman was extremely rude and confrontational with no listening skills. I repeatedly tried to explain to her that the 3 hour test requires something made the day before. I told her the information was all in the computer with my script. The woman continued to interrupt and kept saying she could not answer my questions. I got frustrated and said nevermind I will just see her when I come in tomorrow. Apparently she did not care because she wasnt working the next day. After waiting an hour past my appointment time (because all quests locations are completely understaffed and it takes hours to get any blood work done) I am finally called up and told they cannot do the test because the formula is expired. The woman called another location and had me sent there. I drove 30 minutes to the second location where they said they cannot do the test because they have to mix the solution a day before (what I had called to notify them about originally). Other than the woman on the phone Who was rude (most likely from being under so much pressure and over worked due to the severe under staffed facility), all of the quest employees were kind and hard working, the problem is the Quest Diagnostic model in general. They cut costs by having so little staff and to further line their own pockets. Because of my condition I get blood work done regularly, each time I am in Quest I watch multiple people walk out who have been waiting too long and have given up hope of getting their blood work done. Not only are the staff being mistreated by not having an adequate number of personnel, but the patients are also being mistreated due to their blood work not getting completed. This is an important service that people NEED in order to get proper diagnosis and treatment. People NEED this service in a timely and orderly fashion. Quest NEEDS to hire more staff.

I havent felt so disrespected and unwelcome in a LONG time. The woman behind the counter (who also did my urine test) was the rudest! It was very obvious she hates her job/was having a terrible day/week/year? She was so short with me and made me feel like an idiot if I asked a question yet it also seemed like she thought I already knew everything she did? She was constantly sighing, rolling her eyes, and acting like I was one giant inconvenience. I wanted to get out of there just as fast as she wanted me out of there! I will NEVER go back there again. On top of it all, I made an apt and still waited 45 mins.

I initially went to the location on Penn Blvd but the experience was so bad I ended up making an appointment for this location. I dont remember the name of the person that was working this day but she was very nice and polite. I will only be going to this location from now on.

This Quest location is very convenient to East Mount Airy and Cheltenham area of Montgomery County. The staff is friendly once you get them to smile. Make an appointment online but if you dont have one, get there first thing in the morning for quicker service.

Appointment for 8:45 AM, signed in at 8:34 AM, 9:30 AM still not called on, I got up and left. Only one person was working, taking care of the front and drawing blood in the back. If you have 2-3 hrs to spare go ahead otherwise try the one in flourtown
