A 10 year old could give the administration a lesson on ethics and proper business practices. The last time I was in, I had to wait 2 hours in the dental chair (after Novocaine was administered and I had shivers shortly after which was not done anything about till I got up and complained) and was then told that the person who is qualified to do the procedure is not in and that I would have to go to a different dental office. They messed up my x-rays TWICE and I still have to pay for them. Since they did it twice, my insurance was not going to pay for both that was billed within a few days of each other and Im left with the bill. The bill was sent out 4 years after the procedure and under a different name so it was not forwarded to my new address. After speaking to the incompetent staff, I called back to see if I can get the 25% off your past due balance offer that was listed on my bill (which once again, I didnt get till 6 days ago) and was told that I no longer qualified since it was past my offer date. If I hadnt come down to visit my old friends and apt, I would have never gotten this bill and it would have gone to collections. My old roommate didnt recognize the bill since it was under my ex-step mothers name. If you would like to get treated like crap and then pay for their problems, by all means - visit them. Im not the only former patient who has had a horrible experience. Thought that nightmare of an office was behind me but now, legal actions have to be taken.

I was very hesitant to begin with to even venture in, nevertheless did so anyway, BIG MISTAKE !!! I waited about an 45 minutes to be seen, then was completely RUSHED thru the x-ray process, when I made the tech aware that I felt very rushed she got an attitude and stated that she can to it slow if I wanted to. I should have walked out right then and there, but still believing in the greater good continued with the visit. Dr. Young was very pleasant, as well as the hygienist. So recap, 45 minute wait, VERY RUDE X_RAY TECH !!! ok vist with dentist ...ZERO cleaning, unsure if they charged me as a visit for this consult that by the way took well over 2.5 hours, then they sit you at a desk, she was very pleasant, they give you a bill of what your insurance does not cover, and this astronomical bill that is not even itemized ..so its $2181.20 How on greens earth can that be!!! So call requesting it be itemized and it will take 24-48hours to get that to me. Something just not seem right !!! I am requesting records.

The best part about my visit was leaving. I had a scheduled appointment for 10:30 waited in the waiting room untill 11:30. I never had to wait an hour ANYWHERE else this is unacceptable. This office made me feel like they didnt care about me as client. After i was finnally seen the dentist came in for a second and looked me over, left didnt say what she was going and didnt come back for 20 minutes. Then she came in just to tell me she didnt know whats wrong with my gums and shed never seen anything like it? but she wanted to do a cleaning for $860 bc my teeth were going to "fall out" So 12:00 comes around i finally leave. So an hour and a half of the only time i was able to work out babysitting was waisted and i sat there in pain until i could see an oral surgen. Thanks for nothing. i strongly do not recomment aspen dental. I went and had my teeth looked at and the dentist said my teeth were in great health im only 21. That they charge u for anything.

Aspen Dental is definitely not a Family Dentistry like you went to when youre a kid, so please, if youre expecting them to know your name and come in after hours to fix your broken tooth, youll be disappointed. What I will say, is that they are friendly and helpful for the most part. Their prices are relatively inexpensive compared to everywhere else, and they will discuss payment options with you and allow you to finance if necessary. They used to have a huge problem with overscheduling. You would get there and wait 45 minutes after your appointment time to get in, but it seems like theyve gotten better with that. The reason I give them 4 stars only is because rescheduling an appointment is a real pain. If you have to reschedule a cleaning, youre usually looking at pushing your appointment back for months. I had to reschedule my 6 month and didnt get to see them for 10 full months between visits...crazy. So, thats my only complaint.

First time was great. The next two times. Not so much. Dr Young is nice. Aspen is not your normal dentist office. The doctors no control over anything. The management of this place is garbage. My second visit was an appointment to get a filling. They only gave me a tooth cleaning. Then made me wait 2 weeks for the filling. Which a week later fell out. I was in there today for filling again. Again just tooth cleaning. And then they tried to charge me $100 for the cleaning. My insurance covers that at 100%. Then they gave me a hard time about that. The manager gave me an attitude. Such poor service will never go back. This office is only out for money theyre not there for the patient. Do not waste your time here. Im telling you now go somewhere else. Not to mention the prices are not even competitive. Go to a dentist that actually runs their own office.

My first appointment at Aspen Dental was an eye opening experience. I am 28 years old and I have never been to a dentist office that lays out for you what all needs to be done to your teeth. Then to have an someone list those needs and how much they all will costs so that I, the patient, can decide what I want to have done first. Chad is the most friendliest person I have met. Clearly put my mind at ease and helped work with my schedule to get things going. My second appointment, which was a root canal, could not have been done by a more friendly doctor. Dr. Young made my root canal feel like I just got a filing done and that is no lie. I walked out of that office with a smile on my face. The staff at Aspen Dental are warm and welcoming. Chad, Jonathan, and Dr. Young worked with me and yes I laughed through my root canal. I had a great experience.

I went there for an emergency tooth ache. 9 out of 10 pain. No sympathy what so ever. Gave me the standard examination and started talking to me about the possibility of early gum disease. As though I cared about that when Im sitting there almost in tears from the pain. Finally diagnosed an abscess in the tooth. Couldnt pull because it was infected, which I understood. They gave me nothing for the pain, I had to ask. They gave me Motrin, I said "I can get that over the counter". I am highly pain tolerant btw. Had to go to the Urgent care. Luckily, the doctor there had just received a root canal that morning and understood my pain. He prescribed me appropriate medication and I was relieved. You would think a dental place would be much more sympathetic than they were.
