I have lived in Ashland City, TN about a five minute drive to Cheatham County Animal Clinic for 14 yrs. I am one of those "Fur-baby Mamas", but I never have more than one dog at a time. Dr. Tracy has been taking care of my dogs almost since we moved here about 14 yrs ago. At that time I had a little Maltese who was about ten yrs old, had a heart ccondition & was on daily meds. When it was his time to go, after a week of trying (at home to keep him hydrated via injections which Dr. Tracy had given us instructions, vials of saline & syringes) we knew we had all done our best but it was time to let him go. Dr Tracy agreed to come to our house early Monday morning to euthanize him. (He was a nervous wreck in a veterinary setting & I didnt want that as his last feeling.) Obviously it was time for him to go because he passed away peacefully in my arms only an hour before our appt for Dr Tracy to come to our home. Since then Ive gotten another Maltese which she takes great care of. Ive never been as pleased with both a Vet and the entire staff of a Veterinary Clinic. (Ive lived in a number of different places, so Ive had a lot to compare to). I highly recommend this clinic to anyone! Excellent atmosphere, staff & medical care. -Cyndi Whedon

I recently moved to Ashland City and my cat needed to be seen ASAP so I didnt really have a chance to research a reputable clinic like I normally would; However, I am so happy I found CCAC. Every employee I had enteraction with was so kind and helpful. I especially want to give praise to Dr. Fredin. She was incredibly patient and kind. Dr. Fredin went over every treatment option and was never pushy, instead she helped us decide what route is affordable with our finances but was also a benefical treatment. Having several cats with many vet visits over the years, Dr. Fedin and staff were a breath of fresh air compared to other clinics. They have made a happy and returning customer!

Cheatham Animal has taken care of my Labs for over 3 years now. They have helped me lengthen the life of my older labs and given them better quality of life. My favorite quality in a Cheatham Animal is their listening skills. Like raising children 2 legs or 4 legs Mother always knows best. Take the intuition of an Animal Mom and combine with good medical direction from your vet the outcome is always enabled me to make the best decisions for my favorite loves. Thank You Cheatham Animal. I would rate this vet 0 if I could. When neutering my Great Dane the vet missed a blood vessel and he continued bleeding internally. I took him back, they aspirated the area and told me it was dried blood and that he was fine. By the time I made it home (5 minutes away) it looked like someone was murdered in the back seat of my car he had lost so much blood. I called back and they again told me he was fine. I took him to Nashville Vet Specialists and they were able to stop the bleeding. He almost died because of Cheathams incompetence.

We have taken our pets to this clinic for years. One of our dogs, Toby, has a complex, chronic disease and can become quite ill. It is always frightening for us when he does become ill. The staff has always shown concern and compassion and have gone out of their way to provide great care for Toby (and reassurance for us). I have taken my babies to Cheatham County Animal clinic for many years and am extremely satisfied. The staff and doctors there have always treated my dogs and cats as they would their own and have done any and everything in their power to help and work with us.My dogs are also comfortable with them and that is the most important thing of all. Ive only taken our dog Daisy there one time, but I can already see how great they are. They are extremely friendly, both with me and with Daisy. They are were really knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. I wouldnt take my pet anywhere else and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great Vet for the pets! - Jesse

My only negative remark is in a emergency situation Animal Clinics that montitor 24 hrs need to set up a monthly payment plan when all the money can not be paid upfront. This is about all Animal Clinics not just Cheatham. Thank you.

We have taken our dogs and cats to this clinic for many years. We have always received very good, service, The people who work there are kind and gentle with the animals and their owners. My baby "Dolly" was very ill and they sent us to a specialist who saved her life. I appreciate them very much

A great place to take your animals. Grooming for dogs is fantastic. They do a great job. Every time I take my dog Maverick they do a great service for my dog. That includes not just grooming but also all around animal care. I highly recommend them for your animals.
