Dr Binhlam told me that no diet change would ever make a difference with my cystic acne. He insisted accutane was my only option. As a nurse I knew of the side effects and decided to take my chances with diet. I saw immediate improvement with eliminating dairy and years later I am still acne free after suffering for over a decade. I asked his staff to give me an estimate of how many cysts were documented at the time of visit and they wouldnt give me any information without paying a fee to release my own information, even though I wasnt requesting to receive any forms or paperwork just a number over the phone. He also wanted to remove a mole and I told him I had to be at work in downtown Nashville soon. He said hed be right back and it wouldnt take long. 30 minutes later as Im freezing naked still waiting for him to return I start to get up to leave as Im now already late and thats when he finally returns. I never went back. Im so glad I didnt listen to him. Acne sufferers there are alternatives to accutuane despite what this man tells you!!

I waited for an hour for my first appointment at this place. I was instructed to get there at 10:20 and download the paperwork and fill it out beforehand. At 11:22 when I was about to leave, they called me to a room and when I pointed out how long I waited they said the appointment was actually for 10:40. Nobody ever told me this, and I showed up at 10:20 with completed paperwork as requested. Even a 40 minute wait is unacceptable. The only redeeming part of this visit is they in turn let me see the NP instead of Dr and she was kind, cordial and swift (was in my car by 11:40). The waste of time in the waiting room (as I watched others come in and leave) set off a chain of events for the rest of the day to be very behind. Doctors offices are businesses like everywhere else, it just amazes me that they think they can get away with being so disrespectful of their patients time.

I have been to dermatologists for over 10 years to help me with my cystic acne and have found no improvement. Dr Binhlam put me on spironolactone. Its been 3 months and I havent had a breakout when Im use to having a cystic pimple 2-3 times/month. My eyes actually teared up to my husband of how successful the Drs treatment has been. I can see that the Dr. Binhlam actually cares while he takes the time to look at my skin and answer all my questions during my appts. Highly recommend.
