Ive been bringing my Akita here for about 6mths now. I have only gotten the Most Professional, and Caring treatment from the staff and Dr.s at this Banfield clinic. They have taken fabulous care of my baby! She is getting a little older now, 10 yrs old and began having hip issues. We started acupuncture treatments a month ago, and it has been life altering for her!! Before when we would walk, her back legs would give out (not at the same time) at approximately every 10 steps. Since doing Acupuncture treatments it is rarely happening!!! :) Youd think she was a spry 1yr old now! Ive had Acupuncture treatments myself, so I knew what to expect. What I didnt expect was the 1st Class spa experience that Aries gets everytime we have a treatment!! :) Dr. Walden who I must say, is very gentle and has the sweetest Spirit, with my Aries! Always puts her at ease! Which I must say is important to me! (You see, I dont have children other than her). Let me describe the experience for you: Youll take your baby in the exam room. There will be a yoga mat on the floor as well as a blanket over the yoga mat. Once Dr. Walden places the Acupuncture needles in place (they are not painful, if you didnt know ) She will then turn on some relaxing music as well as some aromatic white smoke. A real spa experience! I was like, shoot! I didnt get this fabulous experience when I got my Acupuncture treatments! You stay in the room with your pet the whole time. After normally 20 minutes they will come in, take the needles out and treatment finished. Ask your Dr. they use Acupuncture for so many things now days. I am using it to assist in the healing and prevention of her hips and to assist in her incontinence issue. If I can do it this way, and keep her off heavy medication. I feel its a win for her, so her body doesnt have to deal with side effects and its more healthy. I would recommend anyone to speak to the staff if you would like to try a more naturalist approach with the health of your family members! I would also recommend one of the Preventive Plans, your vet can recommend which would best fit the needs for you. I loved the clinic I was taking my baby to before, but I just could not afford a $300. bill everytime I had to take her to the vet. I havent had one any wheres close since Ive been bringing her to Banfield!!

I have brought all of my animals to the Banfield in SC, for years, I moved to TN about 3 years ago and when I got a puppy I brought her here.... We have had SO many issues. Mis-diagnosis EVERY time, making her problems worse. They have given me medication for her before, without even diagnosing or seeing her and didnt even bother to ask what was going on, just wanted their money... I feel like since my puppy has been mis diagnosed, that I should not have to continuously pay for the condition they essentially created. They just dont care. They want you in, want your money, and then want you gone. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this hospital unless you want to waste your money. I am on a wellness plan unfortunately and can not opt out of it so I am still paying monthly but taking my animals else where. They charged me almost $200 for a Urinary Analysis and when I switched vets, because banfield made my dogs issue worse, it is only $30, and they have better doctors, and medications. I am very angry! Like I said, I have used them for years, but now I will never go back. Such a scam.

If I could give them negative stars, I would. If you think your pet has a serious illness or you think anything is wrong with them, DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE. I cannot stress how horrible this place is. We have been taking our cat here for years for normal visits and vaccines which was fine. But a couple months ago when our sweet little cat seemed to be having vision problems, we brought her in immediately to get full blood work and a urinalysis done. They looked at her eyes and said nothing was wrong, she was just old. I dont know who is running their lab either but I would not trust their results. Luckily we did not. We took her to a more reputable clinic and had her eyes checked again along with blood work in their lab and they said she has significant retinal hemorrhages in both eyes and she has hypertension and chronic retinal disease. These do not occur overnight so I dont know how Banfield missed this. If you love your pet like family, DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE.

Not happy at all... Extremely poor follow-up with my sick pet and customer service with excuses galore... My wife and I had to call back multiple times to get answers. 3 days passed as they dropped the ball on getting back to us with a course of treatment for our pet who was very sick and on the verge of needing to be put down. We had to watch our pet suffer for 3 days and finally gave up went some where else because we complete lost faith after being told conflicting stories about what happened and why we were never contacted as promised with a "go forward plan". The doctor who saw us seemed to be qualified but the people working in the front area who are responsible for executing the doctors orders are very incompetent and do not do their jobs well at all... This place failed us miserably because of that.

I took my cat to Banfield in Cool Springs yesterday for a really bad UTI. Dr. Hubbard and the vet tech Josh were AMAZING! I was emotional and my cat hates going to the vet and I thought every vet visit the rest of her life was going to be torture for us both, but yesterday was a game changer. Dr. Hubbard and Josh didnt just jump in and go commando on her like other vets have by throwing a towel on her and making her lie still, etc. They let her relax, get used to them, and they treated her wonderfully. For the first time in her life she didnt growl, or bite, or scream out at the vet. She didnt even cry in the car on the way home, which she always does. I dont know about the other negative reviews, but Id recommend Dr. Hubbard (and Josh) to any and everyone. They are true animal lovers.

No complaints that I can remember. Our Vet - Dr. Herman appears to really know his trade and gives us the impression that he actually cares about animals - an apparent true animal lover I think. So, we have been happy there so far, at our particular location, with the medical care our two Standard Poodles have received. I highly recommend getting the Wellness Plan too. It will save you a ton of money if you make regular visits to care for your pets. And remember, just because you have an experience at one Banfield vet (or any other for that matter) does not make every location a bad place to take your pet. Blanket thinking like that is illogical.

DO NOT take your animals to Banfield Pet Hospital. They did a horrible job of shaving my kittys neck to take his blood -- it is COVERED in cuts and was bleeding and rubbed raw when we first got him back. Not to mention how they took blood from the FRONT of his neck instead of the back. I would post pictures but he is currently on his way to the EMERGENCY VET because the medicine they gave him to put in his EYE made him FOAM AT THE MOUTH UNCONTROLLABLY. TWICE. I spent $300 on this. DO NOT trust them with your animals. If I could leave 0 stars I would. THEY MAY HAVE KILLED MY BEST FRIEND.
