NOT EVER GOING BACK TO HER!!! She lacks proper communication skills! She has WAY too many patiences and not enough time to return calls or to spend with her pregnant patiences. I was told by many sources to see Dr. Leigh Redden. She was friendly but always busy and I always waited a while to see her. During my delivery I got very sick and was not treated by Dr. Redden or the nurses right away at the first sign of my infection (extremely elevated white blood cell count). Hours later after reaching a temp of nearly 103 I was giving medication to treat my chorioamnionitis (an infection that happens to less than 2% of pregnant women). My labor ended in an emergency c-section and I developed a hematoma from the surgery, which resulted in me going to the ER just days after Dr. Redden released me from the hospital. I was cut back open and it had to be left open resulting in a wound...and it took nearly six weeks to heal. If you are wondering how you can get chorioamnionitis it can happen few ways but I was told by another doctor that when you get your membranes swiped it can cause an infection. Dr. Redden swiped my membranes 2 days before I went into labor...she did not tell me that by doing that I could increase my chances of infection and put my baby at risk. She also completely denied that she could have prevented my "common" infection. Do yourself a favor and go to someone else! Yeah she is nice...but is she professional? And is your life worth putting it in the hands of nice doctor who does not communicate all possibilities of the things she does? I will not go back to her and as long as I live I make sure people know what happened to me because of her. She could have totally prevented my c-section by 1) giving me more education on swiping my membranes (looking back on it I would not have done it) and 2) taking care of me at the first sign of my infection!

I really wish I had read the one Google review about Dr. Reddens office before I went. I had an issue with my menstrual cycles being incredibly frequent (14 day cycles). I was told that there could be several reasons and I needed both blood work and ultrasounds to determine the cause. It took multiple (read approximately 7) calls to confirm that they had the right tests requested from the lab. When I came in for the ultrasounds, I had a follow up appointment with Dr. Reddens NP that day. She had NO idea why I was there other than to get ultrasound results which she said were fine. She then recommended birth control. My husband and I are trying to have a baby. I asked about my blood work results. She said it wasnt even in my records that I had blood work done. After waiting for Dr. Redden to get the results faxed over, she came in and told me that there were cysts on the ultrasounds, but nothing that would cause problems. With my blood work also fine, she suggested a pill to make me ovulate. After researching the medication, I found she dramatically downplayed the possible side effects and decided to wait it out. After all, she said I would not have another menstrual cycle this month based on the ultrasound. She was wrong. I called to see what next steps we should take and was only ever to leave voicemails or talk to her incredibly rude and insensitive staff. She left me ONE voicemail saying she would call me back the next day. It has been TWO WEEKS and, when I called today, her nurse, Lexi directed me to the office managers voicemail. If you LOVE talking to machines and getting absolutely NO patient care, this is the office for you. I can only be thankful that I did not suffer a pregnancy under her care.

My wife and I had a great experience here. Dr Redden was our primary doctor and she has been amazing as well as other doctors we saw in there and every staff member. Everyone showed care and support during my wifes pregnancy. Delivery was smooth as well, we missed Dr Redden but Dr Ellington was fabulous. Keep up the good work. This is by far the best OB/GYN office my wife and I have been to.

I saw Dr Redden once during my pregnancy with twins. She had a very condescending attitude, like she was looking to prove how smart she is, when she was only telling us things that we already knew. Everything that I would say was met with a quick "I know better than you" reply, even when I was just trying to make general conversation. Not appreciated, glad she wasnt my regular OB in the practice.

Dr. Redden has been an amazing doctor! This is my first baby and she has helped me understand every step. Dr. Redden walks into the room welcomes you with a hug, and acts as if you are the only person she has to take care of for that day! Dr. Redden is leaving Murfreesboro, and we are having a hard time replacing her! My husband and I would recommend Dr. Redden to friends and family!

She always greets you with a hug, smile and genuinely remembers who you are and is interested in you.. your not just a patient to her.; She is very thorough and always puts you at ease no matter what the issue. I really loved her. She was on time to all of my OB apts except for one, she was delivering and I only had a few min to wait. Her staff is super sweet and always remembered me. I felt like she was always very thorough and spent as much time with me as I needed for each visit. Would totally recommend her!

I think Dr.Redden is a wonderful Dr. I went to her with my last baby who was my 4th c-section and she did an amazing job! She is very kind and caring. Im also seeing her with my 5th child. I like her so much that even though I want a closer Dr im having a hard time finding a new one.
