Last saw this practice in Janurary 2015 for an EMG. Nothing was found so we decided on the next step of having a MRI ordered. Due to finances I could not afford to do this until I met my deductible in 2016. After I scheduled and MRI in late 2016, the practice pulled out support of getting it since it had been close to two years since I had seen him. There was also a 6 month wait to see the Dr, which made this an unrealistic expectation. My insurance was willing to pay for the MRI, seeing it as a medical necessity. The Dr. revoking the MRI order bumped this procedure from $150 into the realm of +$1500. From my perspective, revoking the drs orders for an MRI was a malicious act. When I called about this, the receptionist at Indian lake was IMMEDIATELY combative and short with me. I instinctively cursed at her regarding my situation, which was not professional. The Dr and the practice have seen my review here and elsewhere, and are unwilling to discuss further with me...citing my unprofessional response with the rude assistant. They have asked me to discontinue seeking help from them. I am willing to discuss with this with the Dr., but I do not think they see my side of the issue. I am very disappointed and saddened by the way things went.

First, the staff is so friendly. Eve on a day I just happen to stop by, the all say hi and call me be name. They remember personal information so you never feel like a stranger, you feel genuine concern from them . Dr Cruzs nurse makes you feel like a old friend, someone youve know for years. I feel Dr Cruz is very knowledgeable in his profession by his very thorough examination all the while asking questions. He is so patient and makes sure you leave having fully understand what he discussed. When you call in with a question or concern, quite often he wii be the person answering your calls. I had another great doctor offer to make a personal recommendation for well know neurologist at Vanderbilt for me but I told him Im extremely satisfied with my Dr. Cruz.

I have had a fantastic experience at Indian Lake Neurology. From the minute I walked into the office all the way to the end at check out, the staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Chris Bachuss takes the time to listen to my concerns about my health care, he is knowledgeable yet he answers my questions in terms that I can understand. As a huge bonus in my book, I do not feel as if I am being herded through the office so he can get to the next patient. I recommend this office to anyone needing neurology care.

Quick scheduling, I was seen within 3 days. Took forever to figure out and approve my insurance. Nice front office and nurses. Dr. Cruz was really professional, but slightly impersonal. But I have bad anxiety so it could of been my nerves. I would recommend.
