This has been our vet office since we moved to Nashville over 10 years ago, and we have not once been disappointed. We have had 2 cats and 3 different dogs taken care of by this office over the years. The customer service is amazing and the level of care is phenomenal. The people who work here truly care about your pet as your family member and treat them like one of their own. They will see your pet and help even when you dont have an appointment, and will do all that they can to make sure your furry babies are well taken care of. And they do it with a smile! As if the quality of care isnt exceptional enough on its own, the pricing is amazing as well. I have never gotten a bill that was over the top, outrageous or not what I expected. Theyve never taken advantage or overcharged us for any reason, even in unexpected and emergency situations. In fact, often the bill ends up being much less than what we anticipated. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this vet and the entire staff. They are our choise for a vet office for life and I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking quality vet care.

Vet is good at giving shots and cutting hair, but they are only out for a quick an easy paycheck. all four animals that I brought to new shackle died a day later give or take because of their poor practice. one dog a week prior they told us she was in good health, the next week we had to put her down. we brought a cat up their because he wasnt eating or drinking and the pumped him with a fluid that paralyzed him and he died the next day. next we brought our dog which had been attack by another dog, and during the operation she died, not entirely their fault, and last we brought our cat who suddenly fell ill and could not walk up there to be put down, they left us in the waiting room while the cat was dying for an hour and took four people ahead of us for shots, after the fourth person we left and one minute later she died. when i call to talk to the vet about it they turned it on me and said i was a bad owner, needless to say i burnt the bring, had my files transferred to another vet and was hung up on. DO NOT GO TO NEW SHACKLE VET, BAD WITH ANIMALS!!!

I have known them since they opened their doors , I send them business everyday from my grooming business , my dog had puppies Wednesday , I took the pups in Friday and asked why my dogs vulva was swollen the size of a cantaloupe and I asked for an oxytocin shot like hes given my dogs in the past to make sure everything was out of her, the vet said "it was normal" I came back home and she delivered a dead puppy , asked to please speak to my vet ,they said he was with a client and would call when he was done , he never called!! I thought she was going to be fine after delivering that pup,the next day at 11:30 I was headed to the vet to check her, this was an emergency ,the receptionist told me to go to the emergency clinic because they were closing at noon, I was in shock that they turned my dog away when I was almost in their parking lot , my dog died on the way to the emergency clinic , what happened to Veterinarians who cared about animals ,who stayed late to help a dying animal ???

I have taken my Westie, Scooter, to a couple of places that I thought were more money-minded than they were interested in the care of my dog. I have had only the best attention given to my Westie by the staff of this Vet. My dog recently required 2 teeth to be extracted. Dr. Koelling called me to give a report on Scooter and to answer any questions I had concerning the procedure. He, also, returned my call regarding pain medication. I have NO complaints on this office. Also, Dr. Nelson, the vet who fills-in for the regular doctors is EXCELLENT! I am very appreciative of their care.

Would not recommend to anyone not only did I wait forever for the doctor to finally come in the room when I had an appointment and didnt even apologize for the wait but also they had my dogs name in the system wrong his gender was wrong in the system and they were calling my mother about my dog and his shots when she never had anything to do with it. And to top it off doctor was questioning me about my dogs name and why I would name him that... very unhappy.

I highly recommend this vet. Ive never been more pleased. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We didnt have to wait long to get into a room or for the doctor. We were in and out in less than an hour. One of the things I love most is that they dont push products on you that you dont need, I always had that problem with other vets. They are also very knowledgable and able to answer all questions.

Great veterinarians, vet-tecs, and office staff at a VERY reasonable charge. I recommend them to everyone I know who has a dog or cat and lives in the area (they may treat other animals, but I cant say for sure - call them and find out!)

The vet knew exactly what was wrong with the kitten despite the diagnosis being rare. He didnt charge a thing except for the 43 dollar exam. Very knowledgeable and friendly!
