Finding a good optometrist in this area isnt all that difficult; there are many qualified practices to choose from. Finding one that is inexperienced, under-qualified, and petty would normally be a challenge, but look no further than Dr Grace McCubbin and her husband Michael of Lascasses Eye Care. After four attempts to fit me for contact lenses, she finally owned up to her inexperience and offered to refer me to someone more qualified in Nashville. When I asked to return the pair of useless contacts I was met with an almost condescending resistance. A week later, I was offered a refund for one lens but was required to return both (petty). This isnt so much about money, but rather doing whats right. If you provide a service to the public but your inexperience prevents you from meeting the customers needs at least have the decency to not also keep their money.

I actually enjoyed the business when they first started out and opened their doors. Extremely nice and caring until the newest hire came to the front desk and now the appointments are less flexible and friendly. I took a break from them for a year and went somewhere else. Recently I tried again to make an appointment and return on a Friday, only to be told that Fridays are for medical emergencies only, although the website doesnt state that....soo once again, some things just arent meant to be.

Wonderful experience! Dr. Grace took the time to explain everything thoroughly and even helped me pick out my glasses. The office is warm and inviting. I never felt rushed. Michael took me through my eyeglass options explaining what my insurance covered and what my added expense would be. I never felt pressured to make a quick decision. I honestly couldnt be more pleased.
