Would I recommend this place if you had a serious optical issue? Yes. Is the staff knowledgeable and courteous? Yes. Would I recommend this place for a routine eye exam? Absolutely not. Prices are more than double anywhere else I have gone in town. I was not previously informed that my routine exam alone was going to cost $270. My yearly exam to renew my contact prescription took over 2 hours. Now they refuse to give me my contact prescription until I return after a month of wearing the trial pair for a check up. While I appreciate their concern, I simply do not have the time or patience to deal with their unnecessarily comprehensive routine exams. There needs to be a more time efficient/cost effective way for clients with restrictive schedules as their hours are not convenient.

I think this is an excellent facility to go to if you have actual eye disease. If you are just going in for an eye exam and glasses, Wal-Mart or Lens Crafter would be just fine. I take a medication that could affect my vision, so I am required to see an ophthalmologist, not just an optometrist. If you do go there for a medical issue, get your eye glass prescription (yes, it will cost you extra, like $30)and take it elsewhere for the glasses. Theirs are ridiculously expensive. As for the people, they are nice and very helpful. It would be better if they told you what kind of wait you are looking at, because it is always extraordinarily large. They keep you moving from room to room, but you will be there about 2 hours. Out of that 2 hours, my actual time with the doctor was about 10 minutes.

drove an hour and a half to go here because they perform the surgery i needed, waited in the waiting room for 2 HOURS.... no over exaggeration i spent 2 hours waiting.. just for doctor pletcher to come in for 3 minutes and basically tell me he didnt believe me about the condition i said i had and sent me out with no further help and charged me $145.. Do NOT go here. would never recommend this place to anyone.

VERY Deceitful, ask for your insurance information then proceed to bill you for your eye exam because they dont accept Vision Care insurance and your health insurance wont pay for your eye exam or prescription glasses. Avoid if getting your yearly vision checkup / glassware. Why sell the stuff if you dont accept the insurance for it???

I have been a patient here since I was very little. (I am now 20 years old) Never once have I had a bad experience. The wait is definitely a wait. But they always do what ever they can to help me. They are kind and patient with you, so be patient with them. Their all about you and helping you. No complaints from me or my family.
