Omg Im soooooooooo mad!!! Okay so I just had to take my child out of Capstone Pediatrics care because of the attitudes and lack of comprehension skills their staff seem to have. I brought my child there on Tuesday of last week. She was diagnosed with strep throat and given a school note until Thursday. I was instructed that she be fever free for 24 hours without meds to go back to school. I asked if she wasnt if I can come back for another note, she said yes. Kaylee still had a fever without meds until Friday afternoon. I went in to get a note for the extra two days. They tell me that the Dr put in her notes that if she gets WORSE or does not IMPROVE I need to bring her back. Concidering her fever went from 104.3 to 101.3 over the few days she was sick, Id say she was IMPROVING! They still refuse to give her a school note because they say that I should have taken yet another day off of work to bring her back just to get a note. Also, I called on Wed because the cold sores she had developed in her lips were causing her not to eat. These were examined at the initial visit, and I was told to use over the counter meds. These didnt work, so I asked for them to call in a prescription cream. They said she was have to be seen for this! I told them she was seen and that I cant make it there. Apparently they care more about the money they can make off individual visits than they do about the well being of my child. Now she has two more unexcused absences all because I followed their directions too. Smh

If you love your children and value your time, find somewhere else. Ive NEVER been to this place without being seen at least an hour after my scheduled appointment. Literally every time. Also every time, I have to fill out a change of PCP form. Another thing that happens -all the time- is that I have to call in to refill my sons prescription, then pick it up in person. This is fine, except that they lose his prescription in a file box and it never gets signed. They scold me for not calling ahead of time when they dont have it ready. So again, I WAIT for the doctor to sign it before I can drive 40 min. Back home. The rooms are hot as hell, seriously, just wear a tank top. The providers are nice enough, but the office staff is rough, and seemingly wildly incompetent to schedule so many people on top of each other. Especially when my childrens doctor isnt even working that day! Anyway, just expect crappy attitudes, long waits, and the eventual search for a better provider.

This is the worst place to bring your child. I brought my goddaughter in ( my soname goes to Family Medical which is awsome) because she has allergies very bad. When you explain about issuse she has had from birth you are looked at like you are clueless because she is not your own child. They called my friend 3 times for her to tell them why i was there. The staff here are always different. I wonder why. My son had a pair of gloves on and the pa took them from him saying they were a choking hazard. Really!!!!!!!!! I WILL be seeing about taking my goddaughter elsewhere even if I have to pay out of my own pocket.

They dont provide flu shots or vaccines for your child. We waited 30 minutes for the doctor. Didnt get out til an hour and a half after the scheduled 4 year old wellness appointment to be told he wasnt going to get his vaccines that we had to go somewhere else. We went to Walgreens where the doctor specifically said we could go for his shots, waited there for an hour to be told hes too young to get them there. We called everyone on the list that the doctor gave me where he could get his shots to see if they could do it for him and NONE of them can. We are switching doctor offices.

I just recently moved my boys over to capstone pediatrics Lebanon Tn location... And I am so pleased and satisfied with their care!! Its just a blessing to go home with the peace of knowing they had the best care!! Dr. Alexa is a dream with my boys!! She treated them as well as myself like we mattered and not like we were a name on a list of things she had to get done with!! She is very professional, knowledgeable, and kind!! Thank you!! My children have been with capstone since they were born and even though our doctor did move to another location two years ago, she was replaced by another amazing doctor! Shes so caring and makes sure my kids are taken care of! My wait hasnt ever been very long(about the same as any doctors office) and everyone seem to care a lot for my kids! Best pediatric office around!!

I made an appointment for 4pm for my son, I was there for 30 minutes after 4 pm I asked the receptionists how long more I will wait l, she told there were 2 people before me and she couldnt help me with any information about the time I will waited. Finally they never called me in.
