Dr Watkins & Dr Conn have been our vets now for close to/over 10 years and I have been very pleased with their professionalism and excellent medical care. The staff is continually and predictably helpful, and dedicated to compassionately caring for your pet. Dr Watkins toiled for several days last year when our Swiss Mtn dog developed a bad dermatalogical condition and needed to be placed on extremely expensive medicines, and Dr Watkins did not back down until she had arranged a sizable discount from the drug manufacturer, so we didnt have to pay well over a thousand a month for meds for him. I will never forget that. I was forced to change vets in the early 2000;s just before we found BMAH, because a Bellevue vet badly botched the end of life procedure with our beloved Husky, On the other hand, Dr Conn could not have handled our Shepard mixs end of life situation any more perfectly in 2009. Vicki and Connie are dependable and steadfast. And the bath ladies are excellent. I could quote something excellent about every one of the employees. We highly recommend Belle Meade Animal Hospital.. • • •

Dr. Conn has been our vet for over 20 years. When our fur baby of 16 years Abbey had to be put down because of cancer, he found us our new fur baby Carrie! The staff is amazing as well - especially Vicki and Amanda! Vicki is like a second vet to us. If we have an issue - she helps us with the emotional end till we can get there. When we had to have Abbey put down they knew we were coming - they had 4 dog beds on the floor for her to lie on. Everyone in the practice came in - she had two bags of treats before she went to the rainbow bridge. She always stayed there when we were out of town so everyone knew her. Dr. Conn said he had to stop everything for a few minutes after we left so everyone could come in and say goodbye and then everyone was in tears. The kitty and doggie fur babies become part of their family! The whole practice is wonderful - Dr. Edwards has put together a wonderful team! I recommend them to all I know.

I visited Belle Meade Animal Hospital last week with our two-year old dog, Lilly Grace. Our sweet dog has been blind from birth and she receives the best care from the doctors and technicians there. My family has used BMAH for over 25 years and have always loved the staff and the wonderful service and friendly atmosphere. The first dog we took to BMAH was my daughters service dog, of course we always expected a service dog would be treated extra special. But the truth is every animal is treated extra special at BMAH. Dr. Edwards and all the staff truly care about the families, and they understand that animals are a big part of our families. I couldnt say enough nice things about them. I am super happy to state that my daughter and her husband have now begun taking their dog their as well. So glad to know Alex will get the same great care and attention!

We got a new puppy a couple of months ago and the haul to Cool Springs where my vet was located was too far to go for the lengthy puppy vaccinations that were needed so we asked to be referred to a vet closer to Bellevue. We were given Dr. Edwards name at Belle Meade Animal Hospital. We just had our first appointment with him today and it couldnt have been better. The staff was so friendly and gentle and I really felt like Dr. Edwards cared about his newest little patient. He actually sat down with us and reviewed nutrition, behavior, etc and genuinely seemed to be interested. Nowdays, its hard to find doctors (people or animal ones) who dont just breeze in, do what needs to be done, and are out the door before you know it. Im excited for the switch and would reccommend this vet to anyone who asked. Thanks again!

I highly recommend Dr. Kendra Watkins and Belle Meade Animal Hospital. Dr. Watkins has been our vet since 2006, when she was practicing in a different city. She is obviously very well-informed and genuinely cares about animals. I trust her judgment and abilities so much that we now drive 45 minutes to Nashville so she can take care of our pets. We have seen Dr. Watkins for a variety of problems, including treating our cats injuries and managing our aging dogs health problems. She caught our dogs cancer early and helped us navigate the treatment options. Dr. Watkins explains things very clearly, and she is also helpful about weighing medical options with financial considerations and concerns for the animals quality of life. We have also found her staff very pleasant and professional.

Ive been going to BMAC for about 25 years and I wouldnt go anywhere else. Theyve gone well beyond the call of duty with their overt caring about our dogs. Today, I got there early for my appointment and I requested a room so that my 10 year old blind dog and her "sister" wouldnt have to get stressed with the other dogs there (they were nice, but my dogs arent used to other dogs). I was accommodated almost immediately. Of course, Drs. Conn and Edwards are fantastic and they clearly love animals. The front desk is always staffed with friendly and professional people. I love Vicki who actually came to my home about 20 years ago when my dog, Pandy, died and picked her up. She was so sad to see that Pandy was gone. What a wonderful group of people. Thank you, BMAC!

Dr. Edwards, Dr Conn, & Dr. Watkins have been our vets now for over 20 years and my wife and I have been very pleased with their professionalism, dedication and excellent veterinary care. The staff is great to work with and they have taken great care of our dogs through the years. Weve had at least 6 dogs that were patients of this clinic, some of which developed weird diseases and tumors. Dr. Conn and Dr. Watkins have removed tumors from 2 of our dogs, and couldnt be better surgeons. Both dogs healed up quickly and did well. When one of our dogs eventually had to be put down several years ago, I dont think Dr. Watkins even charged us. This is a great veterinary clinic and we dont hesitate to give them 5 stars!

Weve been going to BMAH since moving to Nashville almost 4 years ago. Everyone in the office - from the vets to the front-desk assistants - are the greatest! Not only do our two dogs go there for medical attention, but they are boarded there on a very frequent basis. All the vets there are great, as weve seen most of them; but Dr. Lane spent time researching and diagnosing one of mine with a condition thats probably not all that common in the practice, and Ive appreciated the attention hes given to Winston. I love the care and concern of everyone in that office and would highly recommend them to anyone. Our soon-to-be new puppy will begin seeing them very soon too!

We have been going to BMAH for almost 8 years now, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the care my dogs have received and how incredibly happy we have been with everyone who works at BMAH. Every time one of my dogs is sick, I am always confident that they are in good hands, and I 100% trust decisions the doctors and staff make, as well as the instruction and advice they give us. They truly love our dogs as if they are their own, and I will be forever grateful for the care they have given my babies over the years! We especially love Dr. Edwards - he is the BEST!!!
